Let me clarify: G1 TFers
are these rules of g1? beast wars, animated, rid, and movie have no such rules
only rule of transformers, they transform
That they be cool.
That they transform, are sentient beings in their own right, and we (including kids) enjoy 'em.
must have kibble?
or at least one gimmick?
...because, somehow, Hasbro doesn't consider "transforming" a gimmic!
Transformers transform, unless they don't.
Seriously, whatever made-up "rules" there might be are made to be broken. That's how the franchise has stuck around so long, by re-inventing, re-imagining, defying expectations.... dare I say, transforming.
The first rule of Transformers is: you do not talk about Transformers. The second rule of Transformers is: you DO NOT talk about Transformers.
For some reason, the third rule is: no fat chicks.
Only one rule.
I have no idea what you are talking about. How many figures are you basing this on?
Transformers criteria: At least one robot mode and one alt mode. Made (or acquired) by TakaraTomy and/or Hasbro. That's it.
Like someone said earlier, there are no rules. A Transformer is whatever HasTak says is one.
Any convoy/prime automatically qualifies for 1 free black repaint and 1 white/blue repaint at half price
Rumble is Red, Frenzy is blue. Except when they aren't.
Thou shalt not use scale.
Repaints are cheap and lazy ripoffs. Unless they're slapped with "exclusive" status and overpriced, then they're a favor to the fans.
I want you to transform...as hard as you can.
* The bigger the better (in refrence to chins).
They have to have at least two forms in the fiction, and get from point A to point B via some for of transformation, perhaps? Parts shifting, mass shifting, shapeshifting, morphing, whatever your thing is.
Er...most G1 Transformers had hexagonal eyes...so wouldn't that mean they're six-sided?
I believe that Beast Machines Strika and Animated Strika would like to have a word with you.
Yes, Strika would like a word with you. If this wasn't about G1!!!
Actually, they use scale quite a lot. You can't depict two things without scale. The scale just transforms a lot.
Not from G1: Repaints are even cheaper when they release a toy with sh*t paint apps, and then a later one with more paint apps so you have to buy two. And then they only fix someone's shoulders the 3rd time they release him, using a repaint scheme they'd already used.
From G1: Repaints are used too much. *Looks at seekers*
Those weren't Transformers. They were Transformers merchandise...and the downfall of G1. That, and the death of Optimus Prime.
Separate names with a comma.
