I completely agree, he's definitely a worthy piece to anyone's collection; be it complete or incomplete. I'm extremely happy when mine came in the mail last year lol!

I completely agree, albeit mine is missing his sword. It's amazing how well this mold has stood the test of time.

I have him, though very disappointed both the Hasbro and Takara versions had the electronics removed. :(

They should have them reissued with electronics included.

You're right, AMAZING toy. I remember I got the US release as a Christmas gift one year, it had a big scratch in the chrome on the grill and a bunch on the trailer. And I accidentally threw away some accessories that got stuck to the tape on the accessory bags. It makes me want to hunt down another one, a complete, unscratched one.

It was definitely one of the best figures of the early 2000s, right up there with Super Fire Convoy/RID Optimus Prime. That series was a big influence on me collecting TFs again.

I remember having a shot at one at a local toys r us when it was new. I saw in on the shelf marked $19.99 so I grabbed it and headed for the checkout. Unfortunately, it rang up at $39.99, and I was short $10 and had to put it back. Went back the next day and he was gone... Never saw another one at retail.

Then, at this years Dairycon convention, I found one with everything in its original box for $50. I grabbed it on the second lap through the dealer room and have had it proudly on display since. Awesome figure, and besides Nemesis Convoy, my only other black prime.

Funny... earlier, before I even saw this thread, I pulled mine out of storage to take pics of it so I could sell it. As I was taking pictures of it, I decided to keep it aha
Anyways, I remember buying it at Toys R Us (only time I ever saw one). I also remember me starting to unbox it while I was in the car. Something I haven't done since the early 90s. I stopped unboxing right after my cousin, who was driving, said: "OMG, seriously?"

I really enjoy most characters and rarely have "favorites", but Scourge is one of mine.

    Generations Scourges?

I have both RID Scourge and Black Battle Convoy, but can't really decide which I like more.

BBC has a pointy sword and silver stickers but has pink and inverted G2 Autobot symbols, Scourge has red and Decepticon symbols.

But yeah, its a pretty awesome toy. Arguably one of the best TF's of ALL time.

RID Scourge was the toy that got me into collecting. It was my first Transformer I bought since I was a little kid and got G1 Blurr. A thousand or so pieces later, old Scourge is still in his box in the middle of the whole collection. So yeah, he's got my respect!

    SQ7- love the pics!
Due to never owning a Scourge, I have a question- do the shoulders have forward rotation, or just outward?
