Given how it's all hands on deck for this movie, I don't see how he can't. And I've said this before, he's the Avengers founder, he should be in this one.

Provided they handle his departure well, I won't object. Here's to hoping that he a worthy send-off.

I won't object to him dying either, these films could use more emotional impact, especially now that Logan did it so well.

Yeah, as hard as it will be to see such a prominent charter like that possibly get killed off, it would at least provide a sort of conclusion... which is the one & only thing I'm anticipating having a problem with where the MCU is concerned. As much I absolutely LOVE it and look forward to every new installment, I don't like the idea that it's just gonna keep going and going and going due to Marvel Studios having to be a movie studio that can't just stop making movies. That's why I'm hoping the Infinity Wars will be as conclusive as they can be... just in case some of us as viewers are also ready to check out around then. That's sort of why I wish we already had 3 GotG movies (aka a completed trilogy) by the time Infinity Wars rolled around, and that Ant-Man, Doctor Strange, Black Panther & Captain Marvel were just stand-alone 'intro' movies that didn't/don't necessarily need their own sequels. It might sound silly to some, but it makes sense in my head, so... whatever. :p

Ugh, I wonder how many more times these inane interviewers are going to keep asking this stupid question to the movie-verse actors, directors, writers and Kevin Feige, and how many more times they all have to keep answering "it's not gonna happen" before people across the board inclusive of the Netflix group finally shut up about it. It's a friggin' broken record at this point.

It has more to do with Kevin Feige controlling the movies now after a long internal power struggle with Disney and Perlmutter and Loeb controlling the TV side. Perlmutter now hates Feige and wouldn't let him touch the TV characters, while Feige cancelled the Inhumans movie Perlmutter had been trying to force for years. So Loeb and Perlmutter made it a TV series that's pilot will premiere at the cinema. This has more to do with infighting of producers at Disney than weather they could do it or not. There was crossover in the early days of Shield TV with Coleson and Nick Fury,Sif and Maria Hill, but after Feige got control of the movie verse it became us vs them. Someone higher up at Disney would have to step in. (Wish they would because Kingpin vs Spidey would be amazing and DD would fit in well with the movie verse)

Oh, don't get me wrong, I know all of that. My point is: none of the behind the scenes stuff matters - it's not happening. Whatever the reasons might be are moot Every single writer, director, etc. that has been asked this redundant question has stated "not going to happen" in so many words over & over & over & over & over again, so it's REALLY time for people to finally stop asking the question. We'll be at 22 MCU movies by the time the second untitled Infinity Wars installment happens - it's long past time that hardcore fans need to accept the reality that these Netflix or ABC guys are NOT going to be there, regardless if they don't like the answer they are continually given.

Loeb is more open to the crossovers than Perlmutter.

Yeah as crappy as some of Loeb's decisions on the cartoon front have been this is more about Perlmutter vs Feige.

Can't Perlmutter was the owner of Marvel before Disney. So he still has a lot of shares and is basically the highest authority at Marvel Comics. He's the one that basically has cancelled the FF, and has taken them and the X-men off posters and T-shirts. As well as having certain mandates on the X-men comics. That changed a bit after Fox made some negotiations for the Legion and other X-men TV series. What Marvel got out of those negotiations is still unknown. But they are probably holding something big in secret or they are making a large amount of money off those TV series. Also Perlmutter is now one of Donald Trump advisers. So Disney may not want to rock to boat further.

You can find a history of Marvel's crazy bankruptsy and Perlmutter's history here
    Comic History

You can find out about how cheap he is and his famous paperclip policy.
