The Infinity war/Thanos threatening Earth will probably be what forces all the heroes to band back together after the Civil War, so yeah, it most likely will.
There's not much else I can see the Avengers reuniting for other than to stop Thanos. Other than an all you can eat shawarma restaurant.
Oh God, imagine the original six Avengers, the Guardians of the Galaxy, T'Challa, Carol, Doctor Strange, Falcon, Rhodey, the Maximoff's, JARVIS, Daredevil, and Spidey at that same old schwarma restaurant. Well, you shouldn't rehash stuff. But it'd be fun for a little chuckle.
What do you mean? Are you possibly suggesting that Marvel's roster of Captain America, Iron Man, The Hulk, Thor, Guardians of the Galaxy, X-Men, Spider-Man, Dr. Strange, Ant-Man, Blade, The Punisher, The Avengers, etc etc etc. somehow dominates DC's compelling broken record repeats of Superman, Superman, Superman, Batman, Batman, Batman, Batman, Batman, Batman, Superman vs. Batman, Batman, Superman??? That's just crazy.
You're right, I'm talking batshit right now. MARVEL STILL WINS I should go see a doctor named Steven Strange
2018? That gives them at least...three years (it's practically 2015 already), so one year each having a reveal of the next Infinity Gem seems fair. You forgot Green Lantern.
so basically it is going to be the entire mcu group standing toe to toe against thanos at the end of ew part 2.... my god!!!!
Just had to go dig my Infinity War comic books out of my sales box. Going to have to hold on to these babies now.
And they haven't even aired the new Age of Ultron clip yet. Today might as well be the official Marvel Day. Who didn't forget Green Lantern? I don't think we'll be getting an infinity gem in Age of Ultron unless Loki's staff is finally used to explain to the Avengers what they are. One could pop up in Antman, but I find it unlikely. Captain America 3 is already packed with enough story to include that. I'm almost positive that Doctor Strange will have at least one in it.
And look how that turned out. Luckily, DC fans have Arrow and The Flash on CW which are both good shows IMO. But for whatever reason DC is hesitant to expand their roster on the big screen. It's crazy to think Marvel has a sequel to Avengers coming out next year, then the third one will be split into two films, meanwhile DC has yet to even release their first team-up flick.
It'll at least have a lasting impact on the universe. It maybe even be want causes Thanos to show up. That's a bit of an unfair comparison since all of Marvel's films are sharing one universe and DC just ends up focusing on and rebooting Superman and Batman every few series. I demand that October 28 be marked as Marvel Cinematic Universe Day!
