With only a week left before AA, I thought it was about time with a thread like this!

As I wrote in the "Auto Assembly 2008 announced!" thread, it would be fun to meet up with a bunch of TFWers for a pint or twelve, and some general chatting. It's always fun to meet people IRL and put a face to the name!

As I see it we have a few choices:

1. People who arrive in Birmingham on Friday August 1st can meet up at the Clarendon Suites when picking up their early-bird registration packs. No heavy drinking that night though (at least not for me) as AA starts the morning after.

2. Me and Easterling Capt arrive in Birmingham on Friday morning and then we'll go check in at our hotel immediately (We're staying at the Birmingham on Golden Hillock Rd.) so we have the entire afternoon available. We'll probably go toy hunting in downtown Birmingham and anyone wanting to join may feel free to do so  

3. We gather at the Clarendon Suites after AA has ended on Saturday night and go drinking 'til we puke our guts out!

So anyway, look for the short, fat, bearded slob that walks around with a tall, handsome bloke, and you'll find us!  

 

I am very much in for saturday night, I'll be in Brummie for the morning of the con.

Nah, its all good fun and I will really look forward into meeting as many TFW as possible and I think this will be a really really great weekend.

and of course none drinkers are welcome aswell  

 

Come on people! I KNOW there are more than 3 people going to AA!  

 

I'm there! Up for a couple of drinks after the con, though not too late since I've got to get a train home at some point in the evening. The last is 11 though so I'll definitely be able to hang out a bit

Not sure if I'm coming on the Fri or Sat yet, and I'm a non-drinker so may well bow out early with the drinking   but will be there!

 

I'll try and sort out a TFW2005 board for us to sign like at Botcon

Bring some BIG bags guys, been sorting out my stock and literally EVERYTHING must go! Pricing it that you CAN'T walk away!

If anybody needs G1 parts let me know as I'm brings a few thousand so send me wants lists

I'm a-comin'! First Auto Assembly for me! Don't know what I'll be getting up to after the 'con itself, and don't have a picture handy, so... not much point in this point, but I'll BE there, anyway!  

 

I'll be there.   I'm coming down early (0655 train!) on Saturday morning, staying in Brum and travelling back home on the Sunday. Count me in for drinking.   And Locy, I'll have a Piranacon-fist-hunt before then. And I'll bring cash for the Encore Minibots! Mugshot to follow...
