Not that it's been officially included as movie canon, it has appeared in a couple of the comics, and roberto orci has stated it as the method the autobots used to travel interstellar distances, so I was wondering if anyone else thought it'd be awesome to see it in the movie in some way or another
parked on the moon for example
considering we didn't see exactly where optimus, jazz, ironhide and ratchet were coming from when they landed, and the fact that bumblebee's headlights could only have so much range in signalling them, it seems plausible

they could also have left it cloaked in orbit somewhere nearby

Would be kinda interesting. Especially if the inside was shown too. I wouldn't be surprised, or miffed, if it wasn't shown in the movies at all.

I'm expecting it's either on mars, or on the darkside of the moon, probably in orbit with the dark side of the moon for concealment. Ditto to the Nemesis for the decepticons.

But yeah, BB couldn't have signaled all the way back to cybertron, nor could he have just signaled random meteors for them to have just shown up like that. There had to be some kind of vessel nearby they were using, like mentioned in ghosts of yesterday.

Maybe the decepticons will destroy it as they near earth. Or will gut it to fix or create bots?

Would be nice for the Ark to at least be mentioned, even better see a bit of it in one of the movies.

Easy reasoning why they've left it where ever it is would be because something THAT big would be way to obvious coming through the atmosphere and cause mass panic.

Space ships in sci fi movies are always cool so it was rather a let down that we didn't get the Ark the first go round. Would have been really cool to see what the Transformers space ships look like compared to other space ships we've seen before in sci fi. Plus you know it would have to be huge and big things seem to make for really good shots.

Fingers crossed we have it in the next film. If we don't have the Ark then it's going to be funny watching Prime attempting to climb in the back of a C-130 since it seems like the Decepticons will be causing trouble all over the world in part 2.

Animated answered that question. =) It's an even bigger robot.=D

Also as someone else said, yeah something that big showing up would freak the world out, whereas meteors are a universal planetary event. But a ship is needed for readings to make sure they don't have an orbital meteor defense etc.

i keep thinking that if the ark is shown and we see the inside,it would look like a mass of moving parts and any transformer shown inside would be lost in the background.

Well if it's shown now, it's probably deactivated to avoid Decepticon or Earthly detection. So whatever would cause parts to move is probably inactive. I doubt they would outright destroy it while they thought the allspark was still attainable to take home.

It would be neat to have the Ark show up in the movie.

I really hope we can see it, specially in the dark side of the moon, but if it takes a major role in the mvoie, then the transformers would go "public" and l want then to remain hidden from public knowledge.
