Who else thought that they will use the hammer to create Bumblebee a new voice box?

I thought that too. But I'm not completely pleased with the result they actually came to either.

I think we haven't seen the last of that hammer. I also think we have the mcguffin to bring back dead/badly injured bots.

Perhaps this why Dreadwing is here?

I thought that was going to be its purpose too, but when I realized how much time was left in this final two-part story and Megatron walking away with it, I knew that wouldn't be the case.

I know this thread is tagged "Spoilers" in its title, but should Solus' name have been mentioned?

You know what I noticed? Either this picture is artistic license or Solus Prime is really freaking huge.

It was said at the Botcon that the Primes were "rightfully huge".

Didn't it look a little smaller in Megatron's hands? Bulkheads big, sure, but he's not Megatron big, and he's the biggest guy we've seen yet. I think Skyquake (Dredwing too?) is as bigger or even bigger than Megatron.

Yup, they were really really big. Wasn't the matrix attached to the hilt of the Star Saber? The matrix that takes up a lot of chest space of Optimus Prime could fit in Prima's hand.

That being said, I think Solus is smaller than her brothers.

It doesn't matter how big Megatron is. If you compare the pictures Bulkhead is only as tall as Solus's head. Assuming his height is around 30-35 feet then that makes Solus Prime well over 100 at the least. Megatron might be 40-50 but he's not that tall.

All the Primes are bigger than normal robots. Hasbro said that they are all "rightfully huge".

    I guess...

The hammer could transform (size) like the key to Vector Sigma does. The weapon might have been Solus', but that doesn't mean she was the last Prime to use it.

    Optimus is shorter the Megatron.

I thought of that as soon as Optimus said they could use the hammer to make a new T-Cog. I'm hoping that the Autobots will be able to get it back from the Decepticons later on and Optimus can use it to make a new voice box for Bumblebee.

I'm disappointed it doesn't look like what it did originally, when it was closer looking to TFA's Magnus Hammer/Stormbringer

What do you mean? The only other picture we got of it is in the Solus Prime one I linked to and it looks exactly the same in that.

It looks exact the same. It's just less Magnus-ish because it was blue in the flashback along with EVERYTHING else and didn't have fancy electrical effect, which it probably will have when activated for real.

The only thing about it that was blue in the flashback was the electricity. The actual hammer didn't have any color.

Strange, the hammer's colour scheme kind of reminds me of the colour scheme of Sari. She also had her own hammer by the way. :D

And I agree with the previous posts, it's the same hammer. But without the shadows that made it look blue. Also because it was a painted picture the hammer looked squarish. But now we realize, the hammer is round.

I guess they were bigger than the "modern" Cybertronians,
another note should be that I read somewhere that the AllSpark started to produce smaller Transformers that need less fuel.
So it could have been a little like evolution.

That makes me wonder how big the "mini con"-Prime was.

I'm pretty sure the hammer will be back in next episodes. The previous relics, like the spark extractor, had homing beacons on them.. The Decepticons don't know about it, so the Autobot's can track the hammer, right?
