MP Ironhide is tempting at that price.

Is there any issue with Ironhide? I particularly love the alternate mode.

 

I would bite on MPM Ironhide if the price continues to fall, but those shoulder issues suck ass, and I'd prefer to spend my money on the four leader class figures and one voyager figure that I want (Siege UM, Siege SW, SS JF, SS DotM Megs, SS OP). That's 230 dollars right there.

 

What is the problem with the shoulders?

The shoulder pads, which also form the chest, don't lock or peg in, so anytime you want to move the arms the chest/shoulder pieces come undone and droop in the opposite and wrong angle until you sit them to the right place. He looks awesome in his default pose, but anything else and you have to keep fiddling with his upper torso. Basically evey review shows this. Masterpiece figure, hrmm?

 

Oh, I see....that is pretty bad, those "kind of issues" made me stay away from the "Masterpiece" line in several opportunities.

Just want an Ironhide and the old Leader one is pretty expensive nowadays.

 

I'm just wondering why have the masterpiece engineering and price tag, if they're going to overlook such an essential component such as having the upper body stay together when doing something as straightforward as moving the arms. No locking points, really?

 

It's an exclusive, and it has a battlemaster, so it'll be 25 at least. That's what all the Amazon exclusives were priced at, despite being standard deluxes with no additional accessories other than a single prime master.

 

If you want a really great Ironhide figure, the Studio Series one is fantastic. Sure, he's not leader sized, but his chest stays together!

 

This figure is just so damn georgous..  Cant wait!

Hmmm... good idea   I got rather irked with Amazon - tracking on my original pre-order showed my copy as on the way - back before the figure had released - and expected by a certain date, and when said date arrived, I got an email saying they couldn't fulfill my pre-order. I just cancelled it at that point.
