Amazon is the only one offering that item.

 

I keep wondering how that can happen. Each ASIN should be linked to a specific UPC, so the only way for there to be a mix-up would be someone linking the wrong UPC to the item.

Is there a sticker placed over the manufacturer barcode by any chance?

I’m wondering if I should cancel Bonecrusher just so I don’t have to return another figure in case they pull the same stunt.

 

This happened to me last year. My wife ordered the PS3 version of Hasbro Family game night from Amazon. When the package arrived it was the Infamous 2-pack bundle for PS3. The sticker over the bar code said "Family Game Night".

I ended up keeping Infamous because I didn't have them but it still sucked for her.

 

That explains that, then.

A bad sticker which nobody in the processing chain noticed.

Amazon employees are instructed to look out for these, but this is a situation where you'd have to be familiar with the product to notice the error.

I blame the person who printed out the wrong label.

Studio Series wave 2 are currently up on Amazon through 3rd party for like a 30% markup if there is someone with poor impulse control.

 

That's ToyWiz for you. Their own website is sometimes worse.

 

So I finally took the plunge and ordered the suspiciously inexpensive MP-36 from japan to world. Thanks to Tenso, getting it shipped to the U.S. for less than $170 was a cakewalk.
Box was factory sealed and, as promised, with just a "scrash." Now all that's left is to make sure it's legit.
I've attached a couple pictures looking at some of what originally were red flags the last time I picked up a KO. The gun barrel jostles way more than I expected too if that's a bullet point.
If there's any other thread I should be saying this stuff in, just lemme know.

I've been looking and your Megatron appears to be the real deal. The two faces is odd but they may have known which batch had the error and sold them out for cheap. Mainly the fact that Megs has the black line over his eyes is a big lean towards the "official" category. Just to be sure, here's a link to a post about the difference.

Soon enough Timmy's Toy Box will jump on that bandwagon, Amazon will follow suit just like the POTP Prime Masters wave 2 and raise their prices because of us who are impulsive and can't wait for the price to go back down.

 

Well, wave 2 Prime Masters still haven't gone back down, so... yeah there's a clear pattern and it's clearly working.

And every time I check on them I'm tempted again to just bite because they still haven't shown up in my area either. :/

 

I wound up buying them from Entertainment Earth. Buy a case, sell the extras.
