POTP Slug 20.63 + 1.44 tax from Amazon  

Dear Primus, Amazon really needs some programming lesson and learning how to stop when the price is the retail price. There are scalpers with better prices than amazon!

I'm impressed how they are losing clients because of their programming issues

 

I was thinking about what a price I would pay would be for a TFer. So I did some math today.

I went to buy Hun-gurrrrr and Battletrap today. Total was $48.00 (with the tax). Then I did some additional math. I had to drive around 50 miles round trip to find them all. That is 3 Gallons of gas at $2.70 a gallon. I also took the highway. That was $3 in tolls. All together, that's an additional $11 on top of the $48.00. That's $4 more for Hun-gurrrr and $3 more for each part of battle trap.

For 1 figure, I would be getting robbed compared to a $20 amazon cost. Granted a $17 amazon cost would be much better.

 

Correct at one point you could get slug and swoop for $13.99. Apparently demand is greater for those as Jazz and the powermaster jet have pretty much stayed 13.99.

Actually is not better, but your way is really worst. No doubt.

You forget the option of waiting for the real price of a Legend, even on Amazon or other online store, with another figure like a Voyager, you will have free shipping.

Or the other one, not to wait for retail price but a sale.

 

For me, it's the value of time. I just don't have it with twin 6mth olds so drive that distance or just keep an eye out for online sites.

Also the possibility these will sell out and go even higher with markup. Never will forget what a pain it was to get CW Sky Lynx....

 

Did Battletrap ship out to anyone yet? Just curious as it hasn't shipped.

I didn't order either of these guys from Amazon, but I have ordered several items as of late, some this week, and they've been on point the entire time. You should be good, especially if you're a Prime member. They sold me on it after they got CW Ultra Magnus to me as promised even though it said back ordered when he was released to them.

I know Prime is a lot of money, it is and there's no denying this, but it really does pay for itself in the long run. Music, movies, TV, free shipping (including 1 or same day, at no extra cost, in a lot of areas) and you can be connected to US-based customer service if need be. It's been worth the money, to me.
