Double-dippers would be such a small corner of the market though. This is most attractive to people who never dropped the cash on UW Blast-Off (or UW Bruticus) in the first place.

The bonus Megatronus is a non-starter. Because if you really want a Megatronus for completion sake you'd likely be the kind of person who went out and got Blast-Off in the...two years?...since he first became available. And it's not like you wouldn't land a "better" Megatronus down the road at retail unless this also comes with the Decoy Armor.

It's kinda like Titans Grotusque and Arcee. They came with bonus heads...but those weren't what would sell people on it.

I’m not saying it’s a significant portion. Just that it’s a portion. And I’m a part of that portion so it definitely exists. It’s not enough to drive the market but you can bet they hope we come along. The pack-ins are offered with the explicit intent that the pot is sweetened to the point that it is irresistible. Hasbro and Takara each have their own on offer. So if it’s not aimed at completionists, then what exactly is the point otherwise?

At the time Takara's was available, it's selling point was that it was the only way to get one. You either bought UW Bruticus or you bought it off someone who did.

Hasbro's is the same. Takara's is primary only available through the secondary market at prices that reflect that demand. So if the price was prohibitive when the UW set was new, it's likely still that way now. This is a great affordable alternative.

Same as the past two May Mayhem CW offerings. I'm not dismissing you wanting it. Just saying that people like you or I were likely barely factored into sales of this exclusive...if at all.

I think you're arguing against a point I'm not really making. And more, I don't even know why you're so bothered to.

Third party sellers now listing PotP Legends wave 2 for $29.99 each, plus $5 shipping.

    That escalated quickly.

UPDATE: And now "down" to $16.00 each...

    What's wrong with amazon? o_O

They are even asking more than retail prices, like scalpers. Someone needs some lessons of programming or maybe not and they are clear about what they are doing.

Battleslash even increased from 15.55 to 16.25!

    The scalping was not enough...

They started doing this a while ago, it has nothing to do with bad programming.

Bad programming? What are you talking about?

The code need to be less or the same than retail price! No to be like the price of other scalpers. Just a price like Amazon used to offer.

But, as I said, maybe they really know what they are doing.

Yes they have a lot of time with this

Amazon prices via algorithm. The prices go up as the inventory goes down or, if buying activity increases (or whatever metrics they use) . I'm sure comparisons to third party pricing plays into it somehow as well.

Go to your local walmarts, they have these bad boys in stock. I just pick em up for $10. I ordered tailgate earlier for $13 and Amazon still hasn't shipped.

While I do live Amazon and use them a lot, their pricing algorithms do suck sometimes.

You wrote "Someone needs some lessons of programming". What I am saying is, it's intentional, not due to someone not knowing how to program.
