Great review. Yeah, they should've left these back in the 80s where they belong.
(FYI, Topspin and Twin Twist were among my favorite Transformers as a kid.)
Sucks that they don't work. I'd be all over it if they did. My Twin Twist and Topspin worked fine in the 80's. Moved faster. Jumped sooner. Had a bar on the back of their head to subtly adjust the weight so they'd land on their feet...how'd they screw up 80's tech in 2012?
Anyway, thanks for saving me the $10. I would have bought this for sure if I saw it.
...just last night you cost me a few bucks when I ran into your Webdiver reviews. I absolutely had to have the pirate dragon, ran out to Google looking for it, failed, but found that sweet big ass steam engine on the cheap instead. I have a feeling I will end up being quite happy that you made me spend that money.
I saw Garyun, the pirate dragon, on eBay a couple weeks ago for ~$100. I thought about getting it, but the parts forming keeps me away.
I don't particularly like Gladion, although I do think it looks nice. I suggest Jaguaon and Phoenikon. Those two are fun toys.
Yeah, Jaguaon was the review I saw of yours that got me looking for Webdiver in the first place. Very cool looking.
I got 2, they both work fine. They're just not fast.
^ How far do they have to go before they flip?
Saw these today for 15, but thanks to your review (not to mention the fact that they looked like dollar store KOs in themselves), I decided against, and probably would have done the same even if they were 5 bucks.
