I do wonder what Marvel plans to do with Conan creatively. They already have enough issues putting decent creative teams on their own books. You can tell they're prioritizing Star Wars, which is at least a sort of sister property, but to get a set of good creators off one of their other books to put on Conan?

The new Generation X book was a boring read with crappy art, but it finally did something to justify its soon-to-be past tense existence today: someone finally fixed Jubilee.

    Can't say I care.

    Marvel's desperate, though.

Aw, the same issue number that scott and Jean got married in, how original.

To be proptly separated when one of them goes missing, dies, becomes a renegade, or have their marriage magically erased.

Dan Slott Leaving Amazing Spider-Man, Will Write Iron Man

“Dan Slott has saved his most harrowing Spider-Man story for last.”

“This was a decision that was made way long ago,” Slott confessed to Vulture. “I gotta feel like a jerk, because whenever someone would interview me, or whenever it would come up on panels, I would look out at people and say with a stern look that I was never leaving. Very much in the same way I was saying, “Peter Parker is never coming back. I killed him” [during The Superior Spider-Man]. I lied. I lied horribly. But that’s what us storytellers do, we spin lies.”

In the issues of Gold I read I thought the Nightcrawler/Rachel stuff was much cuter than the Kitty/Peter stuff. But, I guess if it was going to be anyone...

Watch them never mention that she was in the Guardians again. Up until this book I don't think her saving the planet from Breakworld was ever even alluded to after she came back. For a character so many writers like, they never do anything consistent with her.

It probably has to do with how many people prefer her - some prefer her as she was for the longest time - a young core member of the X-teams (like with Whedon's Astonishing X-Men run), while some have tried to push her into different things - whether it's being more edgy/grown up (Claremont's X-treme X-Men run), or turning her into a team leader (Bendis' and Guggenheim's run)
