Hit up Remender's X-Force and Waid's Daredevil in trade if you want some good new Marvel. Its the sort of stuff that everybody keeps saying they want, but won't actually buy because they arn't big franchise titles or event comics.

Thanks for the suggestion, Yak. I was interested in Rememder's X-Force, but never picked it up, for whatever reason. I liked Fantomex from Morrison's X-Men, and Deadpool (Joe Kelly's), but oddly enough, I have to take Wolverine in small doses. Still, I might check it out. :thumbs2:

Way too early for them to mess with the core Avengers figures.

Probably sometime after the Blu-Ray is released and the popularity starts to wane a bit they'll mess with them.

Remember, Marvel doesn't want people buying the Blu-Ray and then reading the comic and going "Wait, why is the archer guy Captain America now!?"

Even though 99% of the audience who watches the movies don't ever bother to pick up any of the comics.

It's what happened with Madelyne and she had given him a kid by then. Plus she looked just like Jean.

    *Yawn*
All I'm reading at Marvel right now is Captain America and Winter Soldier anyway. Maybe I'll give a few books a look, but considering most of the ones that I might be interested in are usually priced at $4 now, I'll probably pass.

I gotta admit, the way they're apparently gonna bring back Jean is kinda cool.

Well, at least Marvel Continuity is still intact (Nick Fury 2 is still there, so Agent Coulson can't be far behind)

I still think Marvel is going to bring back Gwen Stacy

It's the same Captain America, just in a movie styled costume...which I think is pretty much here to stay...

unless its what we can expect from First Avenger 2 it's not a movie style costume though it would be a great upgrade from the standard 616 outfit and the one used in the avengers movie(that costume was such a downgrade from the first avenger costume)

Yeah, it's just that the last time he died, he died in a huge fiery explosion :p  I think that particular scene must've been contributed by Bendis.

Well, looks like Marvel is pushing hard in moving their characters to be more in sync with the movie. They've brought in Nick Fury Jr and Agent Coulson, changed Hawkeye's costume to be more similar to the movie look and now Cap. Nothing really new, they sort of did it with the X-Men too with the Morrison relaunch. However, the moment the movies die down, expect a return to more superheroic costumes. The classics always come back.

I think everyone expects the traditional style costumes to return marvel might even make a big cash-in event of it to re-hook in long time readers
