    Watch out for this guy

    He bids on items, usually transformer and other toy items, but all he does is bump up the price and if he does actually happen to win he never actually pays. I was offered an item that he just apparently decided not to pay for. I refused because it was just too pricey at that point.

    The same thing happened to me on a MP prime...I don't remember if it was the same fellow, but the seller gave me a "second chance" to buy it (I didn't). However, I suspect that some sellers set up dummy accounts to increase the price point of their items--if they "lose" their own auction, they offer the item to you at what would have been your maximum bid.

    Interestingly a couple of days after I declined the offer, the bidder jschnell1976(1) has now purchased the item and has received positive feedback to boot! The person that was offering the item is; oemgcom (58).
