Um. Yow. I would love to see you take a second crack at this, but try not to go for screen accuracy, just go for what looks good. I will refer you once again to my arcee/chromia "murder arm" combination to get you thinking.

 

This makes me wonder why I really had high hopes for that combined mode in the first place.

 

Is there a chance that some "combiner parts" will be included with Elita-1? As crazy as these thigns look, I wonder if Hasbro is going to add something to the mix.

All three peg together with some parts forming.

It only works with Arcee as the body.

No offense to the OP, but man that sucks. I don't think Hasbro's official combined mode is gonna be any better, even if it is different.

Every attempt at a combination that I see makes me wish more and more that they had had time to scrap the combo mechanics and made better individual toys (and a proper Elita-1 dammit!).

 

I'd not mind to see a wheeled basedcombination - perhaps a set up with 2 or 3 wheels on the ground. and ideally 2 cannon arms.

I think the idea is she's 'supposed' to have had a unique weapon on each sister and that by rotating she'd change which wheels were on the ground and which wepaon arm was dominent.

Perhaps orginally they even envisioned a combination where you'd use each middle sister as the head and main cannon arm (not just arcee).

Some of the more humanoid suggestions seem more like the design shown in the comic tome than the wheeled designs in the concept art.

I still think they should make a 3rd bike sister and sell it as part of the Movie #3 toy line i'd suggest for Wave 2 Movie #3 deluxe in 2011.

If Walmart take any exclusive then that can include bike sister repaints (or maybe battle damaged versions) perhaps so that he new bike has something contempary to combine with.

Alternative color schemes for Chromia and Arcee that would make sense would be Orange and also white or perhaps repaint 2009 arcee in 2007 DX arcee colors.

I highly doubt that she has any sort of 'combined mode' now that she has two of the exact same bike in there. I refuse to believe that Hasbro's plan was to use two Chromias the whole time. That makes zero sense.

First of all, thanks for taking one for the team and buying another Chromia.

I'm confident that it will actually have a head, though. I'd wager Arcee will be the main component and her head will serve as the combined mode's. In fact, Red Alert's combo looks pretty nice. Something similar to that but a bit more skewed to one side (so she's got a murder arm and a gimp arm) will probably be the "official" combo.
