I don't hate Airachnid, I just hate the fact that she's Blackarachnia crossed with my favourite character in the history of Transformers. She just feels like a plot device, just there for Arcee's subplot.

 

I love to hate her, that makes her feel like a real menace to autobots... AND decepticons (poor breakdown u.u)

Anyway, she's alright. I want her Deluxe.

 

She is the ONLY reason I still watch the show. I hope she gets a lot of screen time and doesn't get killed off too soon (if at all).

Airachnid in my opinon is on the same levels of Beast Wars Rampage and DOTM Laserbek when it comes to being scary and sadistic. The writers made a great job of making a spoder like Decepticon femme that isn't Blackarachnia.   Add to the fact that she now made enimies from BOTH factions from her personal nemeisis Arcee to the former Decepticon Starscream.

I must admit though that she's kind of attractive but she has nothing on Arcee when it comes to that!

 

To be honest, I kinda like the character, but I think she was far more interesting when she was a rogue, and they would play up the serial killer angle, she was very interesting on Predstory. A tf serial killer was actually a relatively new idea, and pretty interesting to watch it unfold.

When she entered on the 'cons side, I felt like she lost some of her appeal, she became less Serial Killer and more starscream wannabe.

But then, things got worse, and now she is what TVtropes would call a "Creator's Pet", a character who is awesome because the writers want to, they really shoved the character's supposed awesomeness down my throat, out of sudden she has a completely senseless link with an Insecticon, then became the best plotter ever, killed Breakdown in a way that made no sense at all, she is suddenly a major player and awesome villain, I really think they overdid the character, she was perfectly fine as Earth's resident serial killer, making her Insecticon Queen was WAY too-over-the-top.

It is rather ironic that Arcee's arch-enemy suffered a similar fate than Arcee herself: Started off as a very interesting character, but gradually got developed in a exaggeration of her own character.

 

I like Arachnid. shes evil, sadistic, hot, rebellious, & a REALLY good femme villain! After the most recent killing though, I find myself liking her just a little less. *shrugs*

But I still want Arcee to kill her

 

She will kill them all.
