This fanfic was inspired by a thread in the movie forum which was started by Autobot_Wall-E. The story is about the Wreckers, Twins, Sideswipe, and Jolt's (the crew of the Xantium) trip to Earth after receiving Prime's message. Also featuring an interesting main villain. It is supposed to be a funny story, while also a bit serious and dark. I hope you'll like it.

    With that said, let's start!

    Chapter 1: Prime is Alive!

    -Narration by Sideswipe-

After our planet, Cybertron, became a barren wasteland, we had no choice but to leave our home and become exiles. Defeated and outnumbered, the Autobots split into various teams, and heard nothing of their leader, the great Optimus Prime... until today.

Among the Autobot survivors was an elite team called the Wreckers, former engineers who are now fierce warriors who loved the thrill of battle,

Jolt, a young Autobot warrior with piloting skills,

And I, Sideswipe, their ship's commander.

The Xantium ship was flying away from an asteroid belt it had just passed through. The ship was barely dented, thanks to pilot Jolt's flying skills.

'We're lucky to have survived that, Jolt.' Said a silver Autobot who had metallic wheels instead of feet, as he rolled toward a blue Autobot who was a bit shorter than him.

'Don't worry, Captain. With me flying this ship, we're safe.' Said Jolt, reassuring the silver bot.

'Yeah, modest as always...' Said the Autobot sarcastically, before rolling toward a short, red Autobot, who seemed angry.

'The meteorites scratched the ship's paint again, Sideswipe!' He said, enraged. 'Everything else is... ok.' He reluctantly admitted.

'Leadfoot, it's not that bad...' Said Captain Sideswipe, trying to reassure his comrade.

'Well it is so bad if you were the one who had painted the slagging thing!' Shouted Leadfoot, frustrated, before walking away.

Sideswipe rolled toward the control panels, where communications specialist Topspin, a blue, heavily armed Wrecker was working.

'Sideswipe, I'm receiving an Autobot transmission.' Said the Wrecker, enthusiastically. 'It... has Optimus Prime's signature.'

'Put it on the speakers.' Commanded Sideswipe, and as soon as Topspin pressed a button, the speakers boomed throughout the ship with a deep voice, that had a saddened tone:

"With the AllSpark gone, we cannot return life to our planet. And fate has yielded its reward: a new world to call... home. We live among its people now, hiding in plain sight... but watching over them in secret... waiting... protecting. I have witnessed their capacity for courage, and though we are worlds apart, like us, there's more to them than meets the eye. I am Optimus Prime, and I send this message to any surviving Autobots taking refuge among the stars: We are here... we are waiting."

Although Sideswipe was happy to hear Optimus Prime's voice again, and was relieved to hear that he was alive, he shook his head reluctantly in response to the news of the Allspark's destruction.

'Everything we fought for... gone...' He thought to himself.

Leadfoot went toward the control panels and glared at Topspin, before facepalming.

'Are you watching loud TV again?!' Asked the red Wrecker, irritated.

'Well, unless Prime played in a movie, then no I'm not!' Shouted Topspin, disagreeing with Leadfoot's reaction.

'Don't mind him. He's too angry about that paint job.' Sideswipe whispered to Topspin, trying to calm him down.

'I knew I heard that voice before... Prime is alive? Prime is alive!' Exclaimed the red Autobot, happy to hear his former leader's voice again. 'But they destroyed the Allspark.' He added, before facepalming again.

'Topspin, can you locate it?' Asked Sideswipe.

'Already did.' Replied the blue Wrecker. 'Downloading data about the location - language, culture, that kind of stuff. I'm giving Jolt the co-ordinates.' He added.

'Jolt, we need to get to that location. It seems we are needed.' Commanded Sideswipe. 'Optimus, we're coming...'

I like it so far! Thanks for making this btw. I really like fan fics but it's been a while since someone's made on that I could really get into.

One question though, is Arcee in this too? I think she came in with Sideswipe and the rest in the Xanthium as well.

My plans were for Arcee and Brains to be there aswell, but I'd like to give a lot of character development and for that I have to keep the cast quite small.

Thanks for reading, hope you enjoy future updates.

    Chapter 2: Roadbuster's Logic

Roadbuster, the weapons specialist of the Wreckers was in his room, adding armor panels to his shotgun. The armor panels were very shiny, so shiny that he had to flip his blue visor on. He attacked the weapon to his forearm, and it transformed into additional armor.

He suddenly heard something loudly crashing into his metallic door. The tall Wrecker facepalmed. It could not be. No, not again.

He walked to the door and pressed a button. The door flipped open revealing two short Autobots fighting.

'No, I'll be Prime's second in command!' An orange one said before punching the other with an arm that was bigger than the other.

'No, it will be me!' Said the other one, who was green, and had an oversized arm aswell. He punched his opponent away, into another door. Roadbuster picked both of them up and lifted them with ease, despite the fact that they were bulky.

'What are you arguing about now?! Can't someone quietly update their weaponry on this ship?!' Asked the Wrecker, irritated.

'I want to be Prime's second in command. You heard the message.' Said the orange one.

'The message didn't say he needed a second in command, Mudflap, he told the Autobots to go there! He most likely has a second in command already!' Shouted Roadbuster angrily, before throwing them both on the floor.

'Oh...' Said the green one, who was called Skids.

'You and your logic.' Said Mudflap reluctantly.

Well they can't be that dumb... they designed the dang thing didn't they?

In all seriousness, engineers are very intelligent people or else they wouldn't be good at their jobs. The Wreckers come off as dumb because Michael Bay likes certain characters to act certain ways in his movies :/
