Hehe, Nice. I recently acquired Espadia and have her in a sort of pseudo Flight mode. She is quite awesome, haven't had her defy physics yet though.
I have both Lancemento and Espadia. Nice though they have so much stuff to take off and put back together etc.
Great review as ever. And yes, it's good to see all your reviews compiled into one easy-to-find thread. With your current Warring At Play arc, you haven't had much chance to do anything funny-like, so it's nice to see some of that through these.
Mudflap and Skids was quite an unexpected surprise, but even moreso when Optimus brought up their previous job in "Concessions" and the pair of Ejectors "jackin'" them! The fact Lancemento also appears to be a bipolar nutcase that's more insane than even a typical Tigris also makes her strangely more appealing to me...because insanity + one damned large arsenal of guns = not a good combination for whoever is at the end of that combination.
The twins are hilarious! And the toaster TFs at the end were funny! I like these Shinkis. Both are equally nice in their own way. Espadia being the close-combat killer and Lancemento a heavy-artillery warrior. Very nicely designed. And although the combined robot was a bonus, it still looks quite cool despite its lack of weaponry. Nice review, Pol and Ani Cybertron Prime! Looking forward to more!
I like to equate Lancemento with the old DIC Gi Joe cartoon's version of Metalhead, myself. It's that sideways smile of hers. It's a bit TO Cheerful combined with all her guns.
Star Wars reference! ... I think. But YES, I must have those Beetle Girls. Sank Yuu for the review, Pol!
Emperor Nitpick strikes: Lançamento and Espadia are portugese for launcher and sword. I looked this stuff up back when they came out. <.<;;
Google Translate: Launcher and Sword in Portuguese is... Lançador e Espada But it doesn't matter. We get the gist of their names.
Ootini is what the Jawas in Star Wars yell out... it means something in their language, I just don't know...
Very informative! I was unaware of the meaning of their names... Also, I'm glad someone else besides me has come to the conclusion that Pomock has a shotgun. Really, I thought I was the only one for a while there. Though, I feel it necessary to mention that there's a typo on panel 31, as I believe the correct spelling of the word is 'Katakana' (カタカナ), Not 'Katana', though the two can be (and are often) confused for each other. Besides that, you did a really great, very thorough review. ^^ Kudos!
Fun review. Nice to see Pomoc and Partio get some love. (And yeah, it should be katakana) As for her weapons... PMR-01 Kopython and PML-01 Pomossberg M573 They're punning on her name + Python and Mossberg there. (So yeah...it's a shotgun )
