A recurring theme in the latest Marvel Movies:

The villain is a bigger, stronger, slightly altered form of the hero.

    Venom, Iron Monger, Abomination...

I've got no problem with this guy, though... he looks interesting. I'll wait to see how it plays out.

The character that has the same powers but opposite morals is a recuring cliche in comics (Marvel especially loves them). Many characters have one. In fact Superman and Batman are the only ones whom I can't think of one for.

I'm pretty sure Batman has Owlman unless you consider Batzarro his opposite as well.

I personally think it's more realistic for the Hulk to have normal colored pants, since most people don't wear purple pants. I mean, in the first Hulk movie, Banner never wore purple pants, but yet somehow they always turned purple when he became the Hulk.

As far as Abomination is concerned, I think he looks awesome. I really like the way his ribs stick out on his chest. He kinda looks like one of the living dead on steroids.

You guys are kidding, right? Hitch's Abomination's only similarity was the pointy ears. Is that all it's gonna take to make you guys happy? I don't care if he's green or brown, I'm more concerned how the CGI's gonna move on screen.

I honestly don't see a problem here. Looks alot better than the "two toed hulk with webby ears" from the comic.

Now if you wanna see a total bastardization of a Marvel villian, look at what they did to Blackheart in the freakin' Ghost Rider movie.

Superman's also got Zod, in his many incarnations. He's probably the biggest one there.

Batman's got a couple. Ras Al Ghul is his equal in brains and some of the fighting techniques, the Catman (modern version) is a decent match in skill. Hush and Jason Todd / Red Hood were on a level with him as well. There's been a few others over the years who've rivavled him but none so prominent as Venom or Abomination.

I personally incredibly bored by it. I'm all for character development, but not at the expense of keeping the movie interesting.

I actually liked The 2003 Hulk. Outside of the crappy version of the Absorbing Man, I thought it was great. The dog fight scene still sticks out as a memorable CGI fight. Though the ending was pretty lame.
