My latest thing. A vintage MASK Thunderhawk which I took apart and fixed up a bit mechanically.

See? The rear bumper stays all the way down!

The wings are all the way up!

This fella's in pretty good condition, but I have a Reprolabel (sorry, 'Stickerfix') set on the way to replace the current stickers, which vary from pretty decent (shame to get rid of) and pretty beat up.

I'm also toying with the idea of spray painting this guy metallic red... considering the results for Sideswipe were pretty good, and this guy would be much simpler to do... hmmmm.

I have decided to revisit my Bishoujo collection. I've done some pic's before, but they were for my 3DS, so the resolution was a bit low for them. I've also done some nicer close ups and some different angles.

Wow, the close ups really show off how nice these little statues are. Absolutely gorgeous.

Tried some new colour settings too, rather then using the default. Had to resort to Dubois settings for the Scarlet Witch though, all that red messes up bad.

Eeeeh, not too happy about the lighting on those last pics, so I took a few more under more 'dramatic' lighting.

Hmm, I dunno. Having artificial lighting is a bit of a pain, and comes out more grainy on my camera, whereas natural light is a lot more bland, but crisper. Urgh. I do wonder how the hell some of the other fella's in the Cool stuff threads get such good results.

Dedicated light boxes I guess. Grumble.

Been a little while since I did any more 3D pictures, my little Tech spec Top Trumps project has stolen my free time.

However, I had taken a new Tumbler pic, but not put it up yet.

But this really caught my interest today...

So they shot Star Trek:The Next Generation on film, so it transfers to HD really well, but I bet you didn't know they shot some of it in 3D too?

Actually that's a lie, they didn't, but my keen eye spotted a shot which could be converted to 3D... and actually it turned out really well. Now I have to figure out a way to grab the screenshot directly off the BD, which might be hard considering I don't have a BD drive in my PC...

Bit fuzzy, because I took these as it was starting to get dark. I'll be taking some more pictures tomorrow during the day when lighting will be better!

Been a shile since I've done 3D picture, or taken any pictures really. Things have been kinda crazy in 'real life'.

But today I spent a couple of hours setting up all my Legends class figures...

    Wowza.

I don't know, maybe because they're meant to be a different take on how the DC characters look? I'm not trying to be sarcastic, that's a guess on my part, I want to know why they're called Variant as well. (I do really want the Flash one when it comes out.)

Anyway, really awesome pictures! You are certainly a fantastic photographer, keep it up!

Eeeh, Wonder Woman looks like a cool version of Wonder Woman, not really a 'Varient'. Just seems like a silly name to tag on by Square-Enix.

Having said that Kotobukiya Bishoujo Wonder Woman and VPAK Wonder Woman, who's nicer? YOU decide!

Anyone here have a 3D TV Smart Set that pull up Youtube? If so, I created this quick and dirty:
    3d test 1 - YouTube

Until I can get youtube to display the video / image in multiple formats, it's 3D TV only.

    EDIT:

    Here's the image of it:

I don't have a 3D TV, but I can just cross my eyes and get the effect. You render that yourself?

Been off for a little bit, my conservatory (my makeshift 'studio') has been full of stuff and commandeered by work stuff but that's all gone now! Anyway took some pictures for the Star Trek thread and of course, I did them in 3D too.

This one came out really well.

Sorry about the flare on some of these, I was trying to get a light to shine through and highlight the clear parts of the little models.

I've also managed to bag two of the 2003 Masters of the Universe 'Staction Figures', basically the only thing after the line died.

I so so wish they could have done a proper action figure of this guy, complete with rotating spring chest. That would have made my toyline.

And finally my Castle Greyskull has it's Sorceress. Such a shame this line ended, the sculpts were amazeballs.

    Yeah, I rendered it myself.
I attached a jpeg for easier viewing.

    A few pages back I showed a render of "V" shuttles. Here's a video.
