Yay Microsoft Bob made the list!
Woohoo! Sony BMG music CDs and AOHell made it on the list!
And I'm quite surprised that the Motorola ROKR made it on the list...
I don't know how they didn't list Thermaltake (major case manufacturer)'s drive bay Cup Holder with Cigarette lighter.
Its like the CD-rom/cup holder urban legend was finally heard in Taiwan and they took it seriously as a real markett requirement.
I mean, look at it!
I hate you Thermaltake.
I NEED one of those!!!1!
AoHell is definately the worst of all time.
That was a great read! I can't believe, though, that AOL debarred all access to the internet like that for the first few years of their existance!
No surprise on IE making the list.
That's because the ROKR sucks, you cannot upgrade the Transflash Memory and the Transflash memory you do have is LOCKED to your pecific ROKR and is usless is the ROKR is damdaged and you replace it.... it's crap.
I'm suprised Clippit didn't make the list.. that or an on screen pet thing..
So rad! The only thing that would make it better is if there was a big magnet on it.
Alas I unfortnately owned a zip drive and an ibm deathstar. Not quite as funny.
DivX and WebTV really deserve to be in the Top 25 instead of just Dishonorable Mentions, but that was still a great read.
indeed, i still have my zip drive... dead for years!
Lets see. out of that list I have used: Windows ME, Real Player, IE6, and the Zip Drives.
And I had once been using Windows ME, Real Player and a Zip Drive all at the same time!
I really lucked out when I had ME, no notable problems ever.
Just an observation, but Microsoft is on that list a surpring number of times...
Seeing AOL at #1 makes me VEEERY happy! They are, by far, the worst ISP/software combo I have ever seen; even worse than Verizon's DSL software (I'm not knocking Verizon DSL per say, just the silly software that comes with it *shudders*).
I know I'm really in the minority here, but I never, ever had a problem with Windows ME. It was rock solid for me from the first day I started to use it. *shrugs*
To be fair, so is Apple...
Indeed. Apple seems to dominate the "Dishonorable Mention" list, too, with things like the 20th Anniversary Mac and the iPuck.
