Does anyone know a website where I can get pics and information about the Hasbro Warren Transformers Activity Center Playset 1985. I see it is a featured ebay auction. This is one of those pieces I never knew existed. Does anyone know if there is any custom work of this kind out there? I am uber curious about this piece.

    Thanks!

I bought one at a show this summer. Its pretty cool, made out of cardboard and is kind of flimsy but it holds up alright i guess. There are some members here that have them also. Try to do a search

Someone was going to make a repro of it so you could print it out yourself and attach it to wood or some other sturdy material, but I haven't heard of them finishing the project (they were also looking for a STARS base)

Had it! Sad that I have no idea what became of it. We didn't have much money when I was a kid so I didn't have too many TFs, but this thing was just cardboard so was pretty cheap. But I remember loving it and adding on to it with my own cardboard creations!

had this too. One of the few cheaper TF items of the 80's that I could afford at the time.

That somebody would be me, and The update is coming as soon as I retouch the scans, one piece that was missing in the set I have are the stairs so if someone can send me a good scan it can be 100% repro (I'll have the scans up soon for the public, right now they're exclusively on my blog/forum). I am hard at work on using the template for use with updated graphics so it can be used with your current Movie/ Classics. I'm also hard at work on a Nemesis styled playset for your Deceptions.

Sadly I still need to find a quality scan of the S.T.A.R.S. Playset so I can make a repro for my fellow collectors.

Hi Sam, I have a good complete STARS scan I wouldn't mind sending you in exchange for the Warren one. I got it several years ago and built like 3 of them.

Sam (and anyone who may be scanning either cardboard "base") -

    Any luck with these?
    I know I'm very interested.
I wish I had something to trade or scan, but I don't think anything I have would be worth replicating in paper.

I've had great success building things out of foam-core sheets + laserprinter sticker paper.
Everything from costume items, to custom packaging - it works wonders.

If anyone is able to post scans of this set, I would love to print off a scaled-down version for some of my smaller TFs. I'll have to wait until I'm settled in one place with a dedicated display room before I go building something full-scale. :)  (It'd still be possible with the laserprinter sticker method - you'd have to line up your stickers pretty well though).

I have the STARS playset scanned and the instruction sheet to put it together from an old post years ago. If I can get the email address of someone that can post it somewhere I will send it in zip. Then that person can post the link.

Dude i didn't even know this existed.

I'm not a child of the 80's so excuse my surprise that this existed.
