Way too much information flowing around on TF: Prime Toys. Going to try to summarize it here.

    First Editions that got released
Packaging is the same except for stickers and languages.

    1) Takara release has "TakaraTomy" sticker on them. Figure paint jobs are slightly brighter. Got to A3&U for comparisons. To date, Takara is the only one to have released the FE Vehicon.
    Voyagers - Bulkhead, Optimus
Deluxes - Cliffjumper, Bumblebee, Arcee, Starscream, Megatron, Vehicon.

    2) Hasbro Canada and Hasbro Asia released the same figures. Hasbro Canada release is in the tri-lingual packaging. Hasbro Asia release may have a yellow sticker with chinese words or no stickers at all. Canadians are finding them at TRU's. Asian sightings have been found in Hong Kong, Phillipines & Malaysia.
Voyagers - Bulkhead, Optimus (packed 1 Bulkhead to 3 Optimus)
Deluxes - Cliffjumper, Bumblebee, Arcee, Starscream, Optimus/Megatron 2PK

    3) Hasbro US released only a handful and ultimately cancelled the line including orders to online retailers (BBTS, Entertainment Earth, ToyWiz)
    Voyagers - none
Deluxes - Bumblebee, Arcee, Starscream, SDCC Optimus, NYCC Taxi Bumblebee/Pink Arcee

Prime FE (First Edition) vs RID (Robot in Disguse)
The most common explanation I've heard is that FE molds were supposed to be put in the Generations line but got pulled when they decided to have a separate "Prime" line. Hasbro was going to double dip with FE and RID but backed off in the US probably due to retailer dis-interest.

Mold differences. RID's are supposedly slightly smaller then FE's.
    1) Optimus Prime (Voyager) - FE gets a gun and a huge sword but has a fake chest. Hasbro RID has a backpack and clear arms to support the electronics. His weapons are a mechtech brick/gun and small sword.
    2) Bulkhead - Not enough information about the RID version at this time but it will probably have transformation sacrifices for electronics also.
    3) Cliffjumper - the FE version has hands that converts to cannons, his transformation is truer including tire placement and hood. Takara RID comes with a cannon targetmaster. Hasbro RID comes with an gun/ax that attaches to his hood.
    4) Bumblebee - Transformation slightly different. FE version comes with one gun.
    5) Arcee - TBD
    6) Starscream - FE version is a deluxe. RID version is a voyager.
    7) Megatron - FE version is a deluxe. RID version is a voyager.
    8) Vehicon - TBD

    Takara RID vs Hasbro RID
Looks like the Takara versions are getting unique targetmaster microns/minicons whereas the US is stuck with mechtech and simple weapons. Current rumors are that the paintjobs will be the same but the Takara versions will come with unapplied stickers and the microns will be unassembled.

AM-01: Voyager Optimus, micron = cannon/robot (Hasbro gets metchtech brick/gun and small blade)
AM-02: Deluxe Bumblebee, micron = gun/robot (Hasbro gets two guns)
    AM-03; Deluxe Cliffjumper, micron = gun/robot (Hasbro gets gun-ax)
    AM-04; Deluxe Ratchet, micron = scalpel/robot
AM-05; Deluxe Megatron, micron = cannon/gorilla, FE mold
AM-06; Deluxe Skywarp, micron = giant ninja-star/buffalo, FE Starscream mold
    AM-07; Voyager Starscream, micron = blaster/bird
AM-08; Deluxe Terrorcon Cliffjumper, micron = cannon/jaguar, FE Cliffjumper mold
AM-09; Deluxe Soundwave, micron = spear/scorpion (Hasbro gets Laserbeak)
    AM-10; Voyager Bulkhead, micron = mace/fat robot
    AM-11; Dexlue Arcee, micron = sword/robot
    AM-12; Voyager Breakdown, micron = ???
    AM-13; Deluxe Knockout, micron = ???
    AM-14; Bikon/Beacon/Vehicon, micron = ???

Hasbro Deluxe Wheeljack gets two swords
Hasbro Voyager Megatron gets Mechtech cannon/sword

    What Else Am I Missing?

    1) Will these FE ever hit discounters like ROTF Mudflap, PCC & RTS Windchargers
Pros: It's been happening a lot lately to hard to find items.
Cons: The items that hit the discounters were available to the online retailers. The online retailers did not get any Hasbro US FE's.

It's the First Edition Voyager that has fake chest windows, not the RID figure.

I took some pictures of the new RID Voyagers next to some recent Generations and RTS figures so you guys can see the scale.

The deluxe Prime Starscream seems to be the right size next to Voyager Megatron.

Ah, OK. Guess I wasn't paying close enough attention. I'm a little surprised that hadn't come out in the US, if only because the Rodimus/Cyclonus pack from RTS was about the only part of that line that WAS widely distributed. (maybe that's an answer there)

The two packs are the only FE items that BBTS and the other online retailers haven't canceled yet.

Great post. Hopefully we can make this thread a repository for pics and comparisons as and when available.

I actually emailed BBTS about the Entertainment pack. I don't have the email to quote, but the representative seemed very aware of the FE situation and said they were looking into availability for the entertainment pack, but it was not looking good.
