You know! That one little thing about the whole toy that keeps it fro being a perfect TF Toy for you.
For example, HFTD Breacher is an extremely amazing scout toy. The only thing keeping this guy form being a 10/10 is his lack of thigh swivels X(
Give your examples, from the smallest nitpick, to the largest problem.

HFTD Hailstorm. Would love him if it weren't for those missiles...

Also, Gnerations Drift. Awesome mold, good figure, except I think some type of foot swivel would make him perfect. His legs are so awkward to pose...

The fact that you can see the robot head with Animated Grimlock's dino mode is criminal.

Leader Starscream is really awesome, but the lack of wrist joints drives me nuts.

Classics Voyager Prime's arm doors probably could have been tucked away a little bit neater.

Universe Cyclonus is such a fantastic looking robot, but the puny pull-out toothpick nose on the jet keeps me from loving that mode.

MP Prime's hip ratchets make posing him any way besides standing upright a challenge.

The easy fix to this is turning the head around. It still looks odd, but it eliminates the peek-a-boo factor.

RTS Lugnut would be an absolutely perfect figure if he had full arm articulation. His inability to rotate his arms back severely limits posing.

Hard to get United Megatron to stand decent without having his legs spread so far apart, that and his wings. Also, I don't like with figures are not painted G1 accurate.

DOTM Sideswipe. You already know what's wrong, if it didn't have that problem he would be a perfect Sideswipe.

    Ebay:
-Every movie Starscream ust needed to give it up with weirdly postured long fingers. Movie starscream actually had fairly normal hands, but except for the leader one, they were all unarticulated freddie kruger rip offs.

-There was no reason for Classics Prime to have blue shoulders. None at all.

    - Leader RotF Prime is one of the best TFs ever, but the axes were such a pain. They got in the way with transforming, messed up articulation in robot mode and just overall got in the way. They really weren't needed, evidenced by how they were removed on several releases and in many customs. Also I know most of it was removed due to cost cutting, but the wheels/box/leg kibble was easily fixable.

    - They just had to do RotF Voyager Megatron in green huh? Giving him his proper paintjob was just out of the question?

-Animated Voyager Cybertron Megatron absolutely needed that weird appendage that connected his arm to his gun? Simply having a mech-tech sized port to connect it to wasn't good enough?

    - Universe Dinobot... why were you not colored properly? Is purple more economical than brown or something?

-Dotm Sideswipe's swords(When not deployed) hinder articulation
    -Hftd Ironhide's shortness
-NEST Ratchet's lack of a neck swivel(Or is it just mine?)
-The looseness of Rotf Lockdown's left arm, which is why I lost the damn thing :banghead:  Thank god my Axor isn't as bad
    -Rotf Jolt's limited neck articulation
    -Animated Cybertronian Prime's floppy midsection

    I thought of more!

An obvious one is HFTD Jazz. I think a little more paint like the Takara version would have made a fantastic figure perfect.

HFTD Wreck-Gar would be pretty perfect to me if not for a tiny flaw that is a huge problem. He's been a bike for a month since after a crack formed in the handlebar joint during his first transformation despite my best attempts to avoid it.

    Battle Blades Bumblebee's backward axe.

Solar Storm Grappel's awkward non-removeable crane and Inferno's lack of ladder make a great mold a little less than perfect. 3rd party Inferno Ladder is great!

ROTF Prime's wheels not being parallel, the little forearm panels not locking and the backpack not locking tight.

RTS Jazz's back not locking in w/o going against instructions/proper transformation

Animated Sentinel's lower legs. His torso and arms were handled excellently, but somebody dropped the ball on his lower legs.

Actually, there's a LOT wrong with him. One of the most glaring things though is that he transforms backwards. His rear end should form the robot mode chest, not the headlights.
