what's one figure u regret buying the most in your collection
Generations Drift or WFC BB, both are figures that I assumed would be good that just turned out shitty to me.
Movie 1 Payload. Awful figure that takes up the space of two.
Movie Camshaft. Let's just say I had no idea that the torso didn't lock together until I bought it...
Only paid $5 for it, though.
i get y for bb but drift, i love him mainly because he combines everything i love
2007 Transformers movie Leader Megatron. Shoulda waited for the Premium edition. I didn't buy a Prime though. I was pretty happy about that.
Also pretty all of the "G1 Homage" molds and repaints from Armada through Cybertron (except Shockblast). If I could have seen the future and seen Classics in it, I never would have bought them. I really didn't need to buy the Armada Hot Shot "Hot Rod" repaint. The mold sucked the first time.
RotF Mixmaster. This mold should never have been made. It's an extremely complicated shellformer with a Transformation so complex, I had to look up on youtube how to do it (the only one to date where that is the case). It was a minor character, the paint job was ugly. The vehicle mode is good looking but the Robot Mode is a mess. If it didn't have a Decepticon logo on it, you'd never know it was a transformer. It looks like this long armed semi-humanoid pile of junk. You want to scare kids away from Transformers? Give them Mixmaster. He's an abomination. Easily my least favorite Transformer ever made.
More like parents fault, but back in 2005 they picked up Armada Megatron for me at a yard sale. Really, a post Beast Wars series figure being like that? Atleast G1 Prime could bend the legs back.
fansproject protector for me
Probably HFTD Bludgeon. He just doesn't fit in anywhere. Not quite a movie aesthetic but not quite a Classics aesthetic either - so he's just this random one-off in my collection.
And if I'm allowed to mention more than one, I'd say everything movie related. Save for 2-3 figures, I just don't like most of them and regret ever cracking that seal when they showed up 2007. Should have skipped them like my gut told me.
ROTF Shadow Command Megatron. I got that figure on sale and I still regret it. Horrible mold, worse colors than the original, and he's probably going to replaced in the DOTM toyline anyway. Complete waste of money.
u should have left him commanding the shadows of the shelves
2010 Universal Dominator Unicron. $225 that could be much better spent somewhere else.
There are a lot of Cybertron and Movie 1 figures (some of which are duplicates) I got when I first got into Transformers that not only have no place in my collection, but that I ruined with permanent markers (I used to randomly customize my figures with Sharpies and masking tape; I still use Sharpies now, but much more carefully and selectively) and thus cannot even resell.
TFA Jet Twins. Sold them off.
Yeah, I also have a bunch of random movie 1 figures I bought which are just tossed aside now because either A. It looks terrible on display/the mold sucks or B. the character got replaced by a better mold in ROTF/DOTM
Animated Soundwave. He is a neat little figure but I would rather have the G1 reissue.
Yikes, when did you buy Unicron?
Battle Blades Bumblebee, it's legs hate me and it's too tall
