Now before you go "why did you do that to Nemesis Prime?" Put frankly I don't care for him because he's not in my Transformers Universe. I'm a G1 freak. I'm not bad mouthing him and I respect that he's so liked.

So thanks Repro Labels for giving me a reason to open this guy up. He fits in nicely with my other binalternators.

you know, i had prime, for about a day, and hated him so much that i sold him to the first person to ask for him. i hated it because it didn't feel like a prime. and it just didn't make a good toy in my opinion.... however, seeing thee trailbreaker customs from the mold, i can get behind that. i still not crazy over it, and still wontget one, but he looks SO MUCH BETTER as trailbreaker than a prime.

I really don't think he looks like trailbreaker.

I know he doesn't look like an accurate G1 version of Trailbreaker. But he looks (to me) alot better as Trailbreaker than he does Prime.

Mirage doesn't look like Mirage either, but he kicks ass.

I think that looks great. I had painted mine up a bit, saw the stickers, and ordered them. it was only after I realized I just spent $15 to cover up what I had spent 2 days painting that I wrote to them to ask for a refund :p

Did the forcefield projector come from a G1 toy or somewhere else? (and how's it mounted?)

I dig it, I never felt that mold was a good fit for Prime. I have an Alt-Prime as part of my Prime Collection but if it was not a Prime I would not have it

Makes me want a Nemmy all the more.

    Great work man!

    Repro Labels rocks!

Btw, like Feralstorm asked, is that a G1 Trailbreaker's forcefield projector?
Id like to know for my own custom.

I think it is a G1 part. I kitbashed my Nemesis last week. Drilled a hole into Swindle's head and it fit nicely into N.Prime's body.

If you drill the hole for Swindle's screw a bit wider you can fit G1 Trailkbreaker's accessory just fine, I think, you see I only did the head and I'm happy with the result...

Yep, that's where I got mine. Didn't have a Swindle so I bought the head. And yes all the silver you see is from the repro set. I painted the head and generator though.

I'll post some pics of the vehicle mode soon.

Aw, man... that looks great. I'm about to start this N.Prime-to-Trailbreaker project as well, and I was a bit torn on whether to use the Reprolabels kit or try painting it. I love the chrome look, but kind of wanted different parts on the legs to be chrome versus red (those big round kneepads feel like they should be the red part to me, and the pipes in between them silver).

But you know what? I think your pic sold me on the Reprolabels motif. That chrome just looks so good, better than I could get by painting, that it's hard to argue with it.

The only other thing I want to try on mine is switching the wheels for something a little more off-roady. I think I'm going to use an extra set of Rollbar wheels, and try to make a little lift kit for them to raise the truck body a few inches. Now I'm psyched about it, 'cause the chrome rims on the Rollbar wheels will look great with those stickers. :)

Sounds like great idea WhiteMocha, especially the new wheels. You have to show us pics when it's in progress!

Now if you could swap the windows from Prime so he does not have the red ones it would be PERFECT!
