    Hey guys,
I just want to give a shout-out to Sheraz of Kooltoyz.

Thanks to him, I got all 4 deluxe transformers Classics figures!
    MOSC Bumblebee
    MOSC Starscream
    MOSC Astrotrain
    MOSC Rodimus (Hot Rod).

To all those that are doubtful, I just wanted to post to say that the guy is reliable, and 100% legit. I picked up the stuff today... and these toys are just awesome.

I paid 17.99 CANADIAN each. (and yes, he does accept US orders)

Usually I go to at least 6 different stores a week checking out what new tf stuff they have, hoping that if I go often enough, I'll be able to pick up the new stuff when it arrives. Given the fact that 99% of the time, when I go they have absolutely nothing new, I'm finding that it is a big wast of my time and money... I'm using up so much gas driving from place to place.

So when I saw that Kooltoyz had them for only $3 above retail, I nearly fainted. TRU said that they expect to get the classics in Mid Oct, that's 1 month from now!!

This way, I am GUARANTEED to get ALL the figures I want, and I don't have to wait an extra entire month. (Which is the most important thing for me). I'd rather be able to play with them now, rather than waiting a month and saving $3... think about it... Plus, when you add the tax to the $15 retail, we're basically looking at the same price...

Anyway, I scored big today with Kooltoyz, and I just wanted to spread the news...
As far as I know, I'm one of the first people in North America to get them!!!!! YAY... now to go and open them....:drunk

zuffy, how tall is Bumblebee? I'd appreciate if you could measure him, Rodimus too.

I'm VERY tempted to order from them, even if I live in the U.S. Maybe I should!

Has anybody else in the U.S tried them yet?

Man, these things are coming out too early. I've yet to finish cybertron. Mind it's only 5 figures, but 3 of those currently arn't around anywhere right now and depend upon retailers getting the case assortment they're in, which would be unlikely if these came out right now.

For US orders its pretty much 26 bucks for a 12 dollar toy. In my younger more implusive days, I would have snatch them all up without a second thought, whether it food or transformer. But now since i have to save my pennies, I must re think this. I may get one just to see what Im looking forward to when the rest of the line comes out.

I'd rather not pay double the US price to get them a couple weeks early. Too many tf toys all hiting at once you got to be a thrifty as possible.

I have arrived towards the same conclusion. I still have Alts, and a handful of Cybetron figures to acquire before I can throw all my TF budget to Classics just yet.

I ordered a Rodimus last night but haven't from them on paying yet. I figure I want 3-4 and I'm dying to get this guy so I'll dish out the $27.

I am in the midst of collecting Autobot Alts right now for my G1 Autobots only collection so my cash is short at the moment. I'll wait til Oct/Nov and get them in stores but it's nice to see others have them. I still haven't decided if I should get one or two of each.

Hehe, that's exactly what I've been doing as well. Only buying the Alternators that were original G1 characters to go alongside my Masterpiece Prime - except for Skids who I am skipping altogether since the alt mode sucks so bad. I consider Meister to be Jazz and Silverstreak to be Bluestreak, so it all works out :)

Not going bother buying the other no-name/new-name Autobots or any of the Decepticons. In my opinion all they are is proof of a good idea gone bad/silly, especially when more G1 Autobots could have gotten the Alternator treatment instead (ie: Bumblebee, Cliffjumper, Ironhide, Ratchet, Trailbreaker, Red Alert, etc). I realize they couldn't make BB a Volkswagon Bug but they could have come up with something else - Mini Cooper, Honda Civic, Toyota Yaris, etc.

Anyway... glad to know I'm not the only one approaching the collection of Alternators in such a G1 pureist manner :)
