Thai politician accidentally kills ex-wife with Uzi - CNN.com POLITICIAN ACCIDENTALLY KILLS EX-WIFE WITH UZI Man, you can't make stuff like this up
In our country something similar happened a few weeks back, a policeman was cleaning his pistol and it went off, killing his wife who was sleeping upstairs.
That sounds so goddamn fishy. He just happened to have an Uzi SMG with him, at a place that his ex-wife was eating, and it JUST happened to go off while he was fucking with it. Total BS. As a gun owner I cannot stand stories like this. It's just beyond negligence to not check the chamber prior to dis-assembly and maintenance of a firearm. The seconds it takes to check the remove the magazine for an auto, check the cylinder for a revolver, and check the chamber for either before dis-assembly prevents accidents like this. As a responsible gun owner, it pisses me off tremendously that people want to take the easy route and forget a few precautions for the sake of speed or convenience. I'm not trying to be callous here, but this is an accidental death that could've been 100% prevented had the person followed proper safety precautions. Five seconds to check to see if it's loaded. Five seconds that person cut probably for the sake of his own convenience. That's disgusting, and unfortunately the price was paid for that convenience.
She had it coming... The man asked for hamburger and got a cheeseburger the guy in the article was clearly in the right for killing his wife for making that type of mistake.
I agree, it only takes a few steps to ensure a gun won't go off while cleaning it. Sad that people die because of negligence.
