    Wonderful review as always! :thumb

So happy to see the Rescue Bots 100th episode mention... whoohoo!

Have been quite pleased with the Titans Return line and comics too and of course waiting for June to see the next live action movie installment!!

Another excellent year-in-review write up! Thank you!

Transformers was definitely a bright spot in the otherwise dismal 2016. And I would say 2016 was a bright spot in the overall history of Transformers. Here's hoping 2017 keeps up the good work.

Definitely a great year, as it brought me back into the franchise after almost a 20 year hiatus! Can't wait to see what 2017 brings us!

Little to complain about. Titans Return has been outstanding, especially the new toys of characters generally ignored by Generations to this point. Oh that late eighties crew... And seriously, the wave 3 Titan Masters are ridiculous (along with Apeface). I've also now purchased several of the deluxe RID toys, starting with Quillfire. I couldn't pass up essentially mutant Swindle, and I was pleasantly surprised at the fun, very solid transformation. Given that Generations proper is going to be gimmicks for a four year stretch, having these RID toys be simply good TRANSFORMERS is awesome. Especially Bisk and Fracture. Shame they don't really have good toys in any other class.

Shame about BotCon, I would've liked to go one day. I'm less sad about losing TFCC.

A great year, haven\'t pciked up Transformers related stuuf with the exception of Transformers: The Vault and the first issue of a new collection featuring the G1 comics! But this year will be a lot different!

End of the day, I only have two complaints; that all the toys I was waiting for for so long had to be turned into Headmasters, and the fact IDW went ahead and joined Transformers together with a bunch of other series I can\'t bring myself to care about.

    HIGHLIGHTS

-Confirmation of the future release of all 3 Leader class Phase Sixer's Sixshot, Sky Shadow and Overlord.
-Finally completed my CHUG Insecticon line up with the release of Legends Kickback.
    -Gnaw
-Funpub packing up and leaving the TF biz!
-Hasbro releasing news of their own Convention.

    Disappointments

    -Bayformers 5 Trailer (Blah!)
-Horrible Transformers Combiner Wars Machinima cartoon felt worse then Bayformers (Grrrrr!)
-News that a second season of Combiner Wars Machinima was greenlighted as if the first season was good. (FOH!)
-Couldn't find CW Voyager Class Sky Lynx anywhere at retail. Online scalpers wanted double for him as a result. Meanwhile many people wanted him to be a Leadclass or Titan and not a CW (Meh, just keep him)
-Transformers: Earth Wars, turned out to be your typical "Freemium" mobile/App game that prays on getting the most money they can out of people with no real payoff. Once the campaign is over your forced to pair up with shallow groups who kick you off their team the second your not able to pledge your entire weekend to playing some lousy event.

Fun Fact: If you\'ve watched just one episode of Beast Wars, you would have done more to celebrate Beast Wars\' 20th anniversary than Hasbro did for their entire Generations toyline for 2016.

Bonus Fun Fact: If you\'ve ever seen a single toy of the old Robots in Disguise (2001) toyline, you would have done more to celebrate the old RID franchise than Hasbro has ever done.
