For our next Titans Return gallery, we're giving you a look at an Autobot near and dear to many a reader of More than Meets the Eye, Rewind!

Rewind is one of the new Legends class releases for the Titans Return line. He transforms into a tablet / smart device (or "data slug" if you prefer) along with a tank. There's not much to say about the device mode, other than there are some nice details on the stickers and a molded on-off switch on the right near where the gun stores, which is a nice touch. The tank is similarly decently executed though not the best tank to have ever graced the Transformers line, even at this scale. Still, both alternate modes are fun and are carried off well.

Robot mode is where it is at. Rewind has a good amount of poseability and decent though not perfect balance. He can strike a few good poses, though I felt the size and proportion of his arms did sometimes limit the poses available. Watch the stickers in this mode too - the ones on the legs seems to be peeling / crumpling when I was taking these photos. The inclusion of a gun is nice and adds a lot of fun options for poses, especially since it can be either hand-held or arm mounted.

Overall, Rewind is a fun toy and an enjoyable one to fiddle with. He's also a great likeness for those who enjoy the comic. Check him out and see what you think.

The cast of More than Meets the Eye. Voyager Brainstorm and Club Chromedome are permanently part of my "IDW" set now, their Titan versions will be the "Classics" ones.

Awesome Photos as per normal. Definitely sold on this guy and Chromedome (when they are cheaper)

    Boxed hands.

Ok, nitpicking. The figure is pretty.

From what I heard, Rewind's panels from under his arms can flip down in robot mode to vaguely represent Rumble/Frenzy's piledriver arms.

Aside from the cruddy stickers, great figure.

For me the mold is the weakest of the three Cassettes but they all are amazing! While I like Rewind and he looks nicely with Stripes I prefer the upcoming Frenzy. I am very excited for the Wave 2 Decepticon Cassettes.

Will the Takara cassettes have stickers or painted details for the screen?

Also, it bothers me how much smaller and simpler the new Rewind is compared to the older tank Rewind despite the molds being at the same price point if Rumble has been released.

I really like Rewind. The little details are very nice.

I just wish a Legends class figure didn't cost what a deluxe cost four years ago. These guys just don't feel like $10 toys.

I had to put a dab of red in the camera.

I just hope we get eject and frenzy.

I peeled off the stickers I will either leave it bare or make something myself.

I think Frenzy should be more purple than blue just to avoid clashing with Eject.

I don't know why they didn't do the purple/blue guy. In a wave that also features Ravage and Laserbeak who are black and red.....why did they think it was smart to release another robot in that deco.

Besides it's the purple guy we all love from the old cartoon.

At this point the specific names mean nothing to me.
