Thanks for sharing the photos tfwikipeople, i love seeing figures that never made it to the shelves.

(even if you did delete my Generations entry, only to put a near identical one back up two days later :p ).

inexplicable red faces on repaints are cool!

That's probably the weight/size of the full box of Galvatron figures that they actually ship all together.

Prototype Cyclonus colours appeared in the UK-exclusive Ladybird books.

    Cool scans.

A lot of these pictures (such as the one featuring the Decepticon planes with the silver-headed Cyclonus) were actually part of a fold-out brochure that came with a issue of Donald Duck (a weekly magazine) in the Netherlands back when these toys came out here, so they are not new to me. Some of them, like the alternative Galvatron, are however.

Come to think of it, we had a lot of brochures that showed figures that were different from the actual toys. For example, I was somewhat surprised that the outer shell of the Bomb-Burst pretender toy turned out to be light grey, whereas he had been shown as being mostly black in the toy brochure.

I like how even then they mistransformed em. Just kinda boggled that it was hubcap and skydive. That's all I noticed anyway, aside from other catalog "oopsies."

Yes, I got my hands on a Dutch catalog once and was surprised at all the prototypes. You guys are lucky for those!
