Rare 1986 ToyFair Transformers Catalog Now Online

Wow… I wasn’t even born yet, when this catalog was printed. :D

Anyway, A very rare 1986 ToyFair Transformers Catalog is now online for the viewing pleasure. Head-on, over to Toy Fair 1986 - Transformers Wiki

And a special "Thank You" should go out to all the doners who helped preserving this rare Transformers "Artifact".

It's so cool, to see the Original SeaSpray on this 1986 catalog, while it's latest model appeared 24 years later on the 2010 catalog.

I've got some Catalogues Kirk Bozigian and Vinnie D'Alva were kind enough to send me. 88 to early 90s ones some UK some USA.

They were a huge treat back in the day - I liked looking at all the stuff that never came out in the UK like the later Gi Joes... (I still want a Cobra Commander with a little glider due to those catalogues)

Speaking of me being born, If I'm correct... by the time this catalog was released back in 1986, Optimus Prime was already dead. I can see HotRod and Galvatron

    More evidence for RIRFIB.

I like how Blurr and Kup's alt-modes are pointing the wrong direction. That kind of makes sense for Kup, but for Blurr I bet they thought his back was his front.

wow, Ratbat, Eject/Rewind, Ramhorn and Steeljaw in their cassette modes weren't just victims of 80's technology, but also bad 80's fashion

:lol  I noticed that too! A gray Runamuck and 3 Runabouts...like we wouldn't notice
