TF Animated sounds great. Maybe not movie great, but still great enough to get me excited for this series. I love that there'll be using G1 flashbacks at the beginning. Those will be cool to see.

ok. Hasbro sent this, so they'll at least read a bit of this topic to see reactions.

So here's what i have to ask them to put on the show:

- Since the seekers show up in cybertronian mode ate the begining, any chance we'll have a few more recolors/remolds of starscream? (skywarp, thundercracker, sunstorm, any of the coneheads or even one or two of those unnamed ones)

- Also, is starscream imortal (indestructable freak spark) like the G1?

hope this gets answered over the episodes  

I wasnt big on the bots design but from what i read here, this is really REALLY growing on me, cant wait to see this show (even with the big chins   )

 

it sounds like we'll finally be getting a good storyarc again.

i'm more worried wether or not it'll air in the uk. i'm suprised Cartoon Network UK haven't picked it up like the rest of their premiere programming.

 

I'd rather it wasn't done. Save the ideas for fan fiction fare than have another convoluted program with time paradoxes instead of homages.

 

Seems great. Can´t wait to see it. 

 

The show is set 100 years, or more, from now. (the Ark and Megs crashing happens in the late 21st century, and the main story picks up 50 years from then) What your talking about would be like making SS a Sopwith Camel or a Spitfire.  

 

I do have a question. Was sari a pest or was she more of a help and not get in the way kinda kid like ther armada-cybertron kids?

 

I would add how much is she in the show? The less the better.

Pretty good review. I'm still really looking forward to the premier, even after reading that. The showing of the G1 footage, while being a nod to the fans, could also foreshadow the other 2 Seekers showing up at some point. It would be really cool, imo, to have them show up in later episodes (it would make for a couple of easy repaints). It would also be cool to have some more old war veterans show up at some point. I would also think it would be interesting, and don't flame me for mentioning this as many of you wouldn't like this, to have Unicron show up at some point (maybe even Primus for that matter). I know it's been done to death by now, but, I personally think that Unicron could look cool in the Animated style.

Hate to be the only one with something negative to say in this thread (so far), but a couple of points caught my eye and not in a good way:

1) Sari's Key. I think it's cool as a Key to Vector Sigma homage and all, but I dislike having such a powerfull Deus Ex Machina so early. I hope it's not used as many times as it seems to be used on the movie.

2) Prime's death. Already? At least with the original it was after 2 years, and Primal lasted until the end of the first season.

Other than that, everything sounds great.

Can't wait to see Animated whenever Cartoon Network LA choses to show it here ... probably by December next year.

Not only that but she was in Animaniacs and a few other VA roles.... quite a few like Drawn Together for example (Foxy Love). Most recent being a voice in Mass Effect. She has made quite a name for herself in voice acting.

I am just happy Lance Henrickson is in there too!
