Great photos as always, although this guy looks like one of the duller releases in the MB line. His paint apps aren't even as good as previous Bumblebees; no license plate?

    Bring on MP Bee indeed.

I believe that gun is new. The originals came with big doofy mechtech guns. Tho I don't have the entire mold use memorized.

Thanks! And yeah, I was kinda expecting a bit more in hand. It's still a clean use of the mold.

    Nice work!

Quite frankly, the 2007 Bumblebee was always my favourite in respects to the deluxe class of that character.

As stated above, the original came with the oversized MechTech gun. The gun that this Bee has is a repaint of main gun that was attached to DOTM Leadfoot in vehicle mode

He doesn't look bad and his vehicle mode looks amazing. However, there's no difference between this mold and the original that came out six years ago with the exception of the paint. I honestly don't think he's worth spending $40 on. The entire Movie The Best line looks good, but the figures aren't really different from their original molds and they want people to shell out $40-$50. Takara Tomy in a nutshell.

I knew it looked familiar, but when I checked the resources pages it didn't show up on Bee molds. Good call.

My favourite movie Bumblebee mould, honestly. Not worth $40, but I actually like it more than the Battle Blades version.

You're right. I loved Battle Blades at first (and honestly it's still a good toy that does a lot right) but over time the strange proportions (it's got a weird silhouette) and of course the silly gorilla arms made me like the DOTM mold more, particularly the "Murderbee" repaint.

There are better iterations out there. If this was truly "Movie, The Best", then they should have used Battle Blades Bumblebee.

Says who? I really don't like the Battle Blades mould. It's lanky and almost skeletal looking, pointlessly complicated, has terrible arms, and awkwardly placed joints.

I do agree with your judgement regarding the lanky proportions. However, I still consider Battle Blades to be far superior as he had the best paint applications, his arm cannon (and still managed to have it turn into a regular arm), and a flip down mask. It was the most feature-filled movie Deluxe we've ever received.

Although, the new TLK Deluxe Bumblebee looks promising.

Yes, I agree that it's a good looking toy. But there's essentially no difference between this figure and the original that came out 6 years ago besides the paint job and the gun. That doesn't exactly warrant the $40 price tag. Like I said, the Movie The Best figures look pretty good, like Voyager Starscream and Evasion Prime, but they have different paint jobs and that's really it, yet Takara expects people to shell out $40-$50 for them. Again, that's Takara Tomy in a nutshell.

I like Battle Blades too (one shot, not photoshopped together). :)
