    Kind of hard to avoid that. Even with them being able to move around a bit they're still going to be visible. Takara can't 100% nail the show beast modes and still have a transforming figure too.

    I can think of a couple of solutions to cover them up, so I am sure Takara could have if they wanted to, but for whatever reason (budget?) they decided to stop there. I am almost certain that the 3P community will come up with a solution as an add on kit. See Primal shoulder pads, Cheetors's legs, Soundwave's back, Ironhide's hip flaps

    Apart from Shadow Panther next month, just one new BW mould on the horizon - Megatron in January. Before then G1ers have MP-17+, 29+, 36+ and MP-42. From February G1ers will have MP-20+ followed by Hound and Optimus Prime.

    Hopefully every character that appeared on the show. Then after that I hope they do MP Beast Machines, Car Robots/RID, Micron Legends/Armada and so on. G1 is just one group in an ever growing adult collector market and it's just bad business to ignore a large portion to please one generation only for Takara. Enjoy, you finally have an official MP Hound and another MP Prime coming up.

    Completely agree.

    It’s great for me. As someone who happily straddles G1 and BW, I always have plenty of MP goodness to look forward to!

    On the subject of other lines, I wonder if we will ever see an MP Superlink Laserwave. I kept that bad boy from my early 2000’s collection, and I’d love to see how they could improve him.

    I see what you mean now. Those were like that straight out of the box so I assumed they were meant to be like that. Didn't realize they spun around until I started transforming him. And really, didn't even cross my mind then that "oh I could've hid them more."

    Next time he hits Beast Mode tho, aka when Megatron arrives, will do.
