I didn't hear Welker or see Megatron in action. But Cullen as Prime was awesome. They did a great job of integrating him into the game. Prime will pop in at the start of missions to lay out your objective. On the DS game, Ironhide was giving the orders, and he sounded great too.

For the record, bot the 360 and PS3 version were running at 1080i for the previews we had.

    Nice!

It's really too bad you couldn't get a higher quality video of the opening movie. I really wanted to see that again with sound...

Thanks for the review, info, and pictures.

I'm so glad I pre-ordered the Cybertron Edition.

It would be nice if there was some kind of multiplayer.

:rock  Awesome! Kudos on showing us all the cool stuff you saw.

Seeing as the onlysystem I currently own (*sigh*) out of all of those is a Nintendo DS it appears the DS version will be the game I'll be buying/playing.

I did not know you could make your own Autobot/Decepticon character in the DS game though, so that's frickin' cool! :D

Can you do multiplayer with your customized Autobot/Decepticon too?

Bad-ASS. Now I can safely pre-order it for the quieter console... ;)

That was my main sticking point, really. If both versions were nigh-identical, I'd get the PS3 version, because I prefer that controller and the system is whisper-quiet, unlike my sounds-like-it-wants-to-fly-itself-out-of-the-window X360.

    Thanks again!

I believe so, but I didn't get a chance to try out the multiplayer.

Damn! I preordered the regular version thinking that all the Cybertron version had was only the bonus 'making of' type content. Not actual levels.

DS and PSP support multiplayer, the console versions are single player affairs.

Hell... Even though I don't have a Wii yet, I'll end up buying the game so that when I get clearance to buy the Wii I'll be able to play.

What on Earth is that? A TV show? …I hope it appears online, sometime soon. I live in Japan, so if it’s on TV or anything State’s side, I won’t be seeing it:(

My apologies. Robot Chicken is an animated comedy skit show that uses popular toys and cartoons to make spoofs. They are doing an entire episode that is Star Wars themed. Activision had told us they would have it on their website "soon", but gave no official date.

Sweet! Looks like they bumped up the 360's game specs, then. I wish I knew more about what they were planning for Megatron though...

I own a PS3 and love it. But, if you own both consoles, I'd consider the extra content. The Cybertron edition on the 360 has extra content. An extra level is an extra level and there is the other stuff like behind the scenes videos of Peter and Frank... If you don't really care about that and are more pumped about the SIXAXIS control when playing as the Decepticon flyers, pick up the PS3 version. (Yeah, there are people out there who own a console and aren't "OMG!!!1!! J00 must get it for the PS3!!!11!" I love my system, but it's the right choice for me and I won't bash any console. That's so teenager. LOL
