To quote Dr. Phil, "I am Stupified!"

It's like G2 Prime's talking trailer all over again :redface2:

    Not Cullen's voice?
Wow, thanks for making the decision on whether or not to buy OP for me, HasBlow...:throw
If it had been Cullen's vioce, I'd have likely got it, as that's the voice I hear every time I look at or play with the fig.
With this news, I can turn that 100 bucks towards something more important.
Like a shaver for my back... :rolleyes2

Last of Cybertron? Weren't we supposed to get some repaints of all the deluxes leading up to the Thunderblast/Brimstone/Crosswise wave? I want my Dirt Boss redeco damn it...

And nothing about those Divebomb repaints or beast minicons yet?

:lol  Yeah, would it have really been that hard for Hasbro (because like, they own the rights to Transformers and stuff) to sample some of Prime's lines from the original movie and cartoon?

Watch, it'll be some drivel lifted from one or all of the Armada/Energon/Cybertron shows...blech. :lol  *

*is not discrediting the genius of Gary Chalk, but they can't use any lines he did as Primal....because, ya know, they weren't like, the same guy and stuff*

    *cue TRUKK vs. MUNKY argument*

Given how bad the speakers are on toy voiceboxes, it's not like it would have sounded anything like the G1 voice even if Cullen was doing the lines.

*Braces for multiple threads complaining about the length of smokestacks...again...when this toy comes out*

Anyway, they could construct this figure out of gold but I'm not forking out for another 20th Prime. Cheaper to just buy the movie separately.

Not bad enough the figures suck, but now they're going in for obscure characters too? Hopefully, this will be the beginning of the end for the line.

As long as these aren't the Robotmasters molds, I'll probably take a chance and pick them up.

Excellent. I don't really care whether it's the originals or the remolds, I'll just be happy to have versions of these molds in the original colours (I already have T-Wrecks and the Universe version of Primal).

I imagine if they removed the DVDs and tiny ship models, BWX Megatron and Primal could pass for the Deluxe price point. Hopefully that's not the case though, as I was looking forward to the Axalon and Darkside models.

As an aside, I noticed my local TRU has the planograms out on their shelves (they haven't restocked virtually anything for the past damn month) and there's a listing for a TF Cybertron two-pack or BOGO, I forget which exactly. Maybe that's going to entail some of the repaints we've heard of?

I dunno though, I thought the Air Attack Optimus Primal sounded all right, so I think they could've made a reasonably all right speaker with Cullen lines.

Sorry, but I missed that. Where did the BotCon crew EVER say that their Crumplemunnky head was the same as any other Primal?

I'm hoping we get a Mara Jade/Jade's Fire! I've always wondered what that ship looked like. It would be my first SWTF purchase.

Well, the slim design used on alot of the SWTFs would lend themselves more towards females forms... and a Mara Jade/Jade's Fire would be all kinds of cool from a SW fan perspective...

Was it Saesee Tiin, maybe? If he's yet another use of the Jedi Starfighter, it would make sense -- he's supposed to be one of the best pilots among the Jedi. (He's the dude with downward-pointing horns who kicked some ass in Clone Wars and then got pwned like a chump (along with Kit Fisto and Agen Kolar) in Palpy's office in Sith.)

They should TOTALLY do Tantive IV/ANH Leia-mech. The cockpit shape is a NATURAL to turn into the cinnamon hair-buns.

Nope, sorry. Our president is the "Decider", not the "Roller"....

My thoughts exactly. They didn't. They said:

Well, this one is a mixed bag. :inquisiti

Both Prim(e/al) & Megs 2-packs I soooo down on. Unless the Ultras are just straight re-issues. But I got a good feeling that it's Takara's BWR set.  Or is that my cell phone in my pocket? ;)

Couldn't care less for the 20th Prime, SWTFs, or Attacktix. :redface2:

    Alternators, as expected. :confused2

And I still have some Cybertron/GF TFs to pick up. :thumb  I fell behind again. :rolleyes2

Wait. I can't keep up with the lingo you crazy kids use these days. Doesn't being "down on" something mean disliking it? I certainly don't get a "cell phone" in my pocket for something I dislike. :D

Now, if you had said "down with" or "down for", I'd get it. Or am I just a geezer at this point? :rip

Hmm, I wonder why Alternator Rumble wasn't listed.

Both sound pretty keen right now. Especially if the Primal vs Megs set is BWR.

    Cybertron

No Sunstorm makes me a sad panda. I was really looking forward to a bright yellow and white Voyager Screamer with blinding orange blades (seriously).

And the Deluxe Megs and Primal baffle me. Why would they re-release those toys so close to their BWX release, for $5 less?

As for the Alt news and the lack of Rumble, I'll remain optimistic.
