    I still can't believe this figure is yellow plastic painted black!

    That's a deal-breaker for me. I really don't like his colour breakdown in robot mode at all. It would have been nice to have a "battle mask" Bumblebee variant, but It's not enough to sell me on it. :(

    as for stealth bumblebee, wanted to pass on it. I guess I'll be building a concept camaro army soon for the fun of it.

    The Stealth deco is the best that figure has looked so far. It actually looks like a robot instead of either a yellow or red blob, and the new head is a vast improvement. This just might be the first movie BB I don't pass on.

    There IS black plastic though, just some parts had to be painted, as ffor hwo the mold was setup.

    That's what I mean though... I don't really like the patchwork style of the yellow in robot mode. I think it would have been better all around if they'd molded him in black, and then added a few well-chosen yellow paint apps.

    Of course the clear plastic parts would have to be painted regardless of what the primary plastic colour was.
