I've just got Metal Slug 6 left, then I'm finished the Metal Slug Anthology. Can I finish Ikaruga before game day? D:
If you've got a remotely good PC download Steam and try out the demo to see if it'll run on lower end settings. Speaking of which, the demo is hating me right now, anybody know an easy way to tweak it JUST right? (the settings) DN

Week One: 22nd of August to 29th of August Mission: Prologue and Mission 01 Prologue: A tutorial level to get to grips with Wayne, his Anchor device and shooty gun guns! Mission 01: A World of Ice Wayne takes to the icy tundra of the... LOST PLANET to fight Akrid and generally be a good guy. You want to be a good guy, don't you?! So there you go, get stuck in, don't forget to look for the Target Markers. There are different sets per difficulty, a task not for the faint of heart! WAYYYYNE!
Aye I thought about that, but it's a case of getting it in time Got a few more options to check out tomorrow!
Feel free to do whatever you want so long as you aren't talking about anything other than the Prologue or Mission 1.
Christ, that is a really big bug to be throwing at you five minutes into the game! Damn thing even killed me once. x_x; ...that doesn't bode well. Also, Josh Keaton voices Wayne. That makes him instantly badass. I also like how even the ungodly freezing temperatures around her aren't enough to deter Luka from leaving her cleavage hanging out in the open. XD
Think valve is trying to tell us we picked the wrong game or influence our next decision. Beyond Good and Evil on Steam Definitely picking it up for 5 bucks regardless if we play it or not. Should be getting my copy of lost planet in the next couple of days.
I went back and got all of the target marks on easy, I can imagine they would be a pain in the ass on extreme. I've also been playing a bit of multi player lately, if anyone is interested, just send me a message. Trying to get a few more medals for achievements.
i really really like the VS. it is a blast to use, although a little difficult to aim at fast moving targets. i started out on normal...had some trouble figuring out what to do in the prologue so the greeneye killed me six or seven times lol. i may go back tonight and get all the target marks. critically: gameplay is fairly easy, but the sensitivity is way too low for my liking. can i adjust it? i don't understand why the humans are bent on killing the Akrid. it's the Akrid's home planet, so technically we're an invading force and they're defending their home world...seems kinda harsh to me.
I never played Lost Planet before today. I normally don't play 3PS's because of the controls, and I will say the the controls for LP are exceptional compared to other 3PS's I've played. The only real gripe I have is not having a button to automatically center the camera where the character is looking (I wish it was always centered). It's nice playing a game where you don't know what the enemy's health is...I hate the floating health meters in most games.
Trust me, it's perfectly fine that you can't get it, there's a reason this is 5 dollars and that reason is FAIL. Hunt down an actual console copy if you can. This is clearly a console game ported to PC by someone with a vendetta. The main menu doesn't even have MOUSE SUPPORT (aside from clicking)! In a game made in 2003! All settings options, keyboard controls, video and audio are not accessible in game, there's a seperate program you have to run. If you have Vista you might have problems, if you have a dual core processor you're definitely gonna have problems as the game rapidly desyncs it's audio and video. I will try this later on my single core xp desktop and hope there's a good game in this horribleness. Anyways, i will stop derailing this thread, get some sleep and annihilate some bugs who just happened to be in my way living in their homeworld.
another thing...i was confused as to why there were armored and armed suits in the hive. how the F did those get there?
