Family Video has Lost Planet pre-owned for $9.95. Free shipping with code GAMEPRO7 Lost Planet: Extreme Condition : Xbox 360 (USED) Just a heads up for folks looking for it cheap.
I think i may get this on PC via, get away from the whole achievement business and remind my laptop it can play newer games too (havent bought any since the orange box). Anyone know if the controls for PC are decent or will i have to resort to my 360 controller anyways?
Yeah but it's a 3rd Person Shooter otherwise i'd agree with you. Guess i'll just dl the demo and see for myself, probably should have done it in the first place.
When we start, I'd like to open a chat channel over XBL as we play, might be kinda cool to talk 'n play at the same time.
I know we haven't even start playing lost planet yet, but when does the discusion about the next choice begin?
Looks like Lost Planet doesn't like my video card, just as well as i found this lovely bit of info out. https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=8030-GKZN-9122 That's right, you can delete all your saves by fiddling with your settings. Whoever programmed that and didn't fix it should be fired. Word of warning to anyone else going the PC route.
So basically, update it as soon as you get it like you should, and get the settings right before you start getting in depth with the game...like you should. DN
where are we discussing it? in this thread? how does what we're doing make it any different than if i started a thread saying "discuss lost planet"?
Downloading the demo now. Decided on getting the Steam version for the Megaman/Dead Rising/Other Guy 400 MB patch instead of all the extra modes I won't use that comes in colonies. And the original is only $19.99 on Steam! DN
I dunno how I can make it any clearer than in the OP. But hell, I can sure as goodness try, can't I? YEAH! So yeah, the difference is we'll be playing in measured chunks, together, and use this thread to talk about it.
