I liked it. Reminded of the fan commentary that was on the '86 TF movie. A bunch of TF nerds having fun.

Heh, I can't wait to listen to our little production... now if iTunes will work, I'll be all set.

Ladies and Gents, if you like what you hear, PLEASE leave us a review on iTunes. The reviews on iTunes really do help us. Thanks!

No itunes for me as I use Linux exclusively and generally buy my music the old fashioned way.

But will have a listen to the audio file later on.

I'm listening to it now and I'll give you honest and legit feedback:

*It's really long. Really really long.

    *Possibly too many people.

*Recording quality of some people is pretty low.

    *Kind of lacks direction.

Just a small production oddity - The ID3 tag on the .mp3 file "Carolyn Reed - Love Found Me."

Not sure if that's intentional or not.

Also, I second llamatron's feedback. It needs to be streamlined; less people, maybe fewer topics per episode, and not nearly as long.

Well I disagree with the above comments on the length. I listen to a lot of podcasts, and many go over an hour. A podcast shouldn't restrict itself to any time limits. If you get into a good discussion...go for it. If we dont like it, we can fast-forward. (I noticed the chapters marked in this, nice touch for easy skipping. Alot of shows dont do that) As far as Im concerned take all the time you need. I think if the show was any less than it was, it would seem like you couldn't fit everything you want in. If anything I wanted more content in there.

While I thought it was good overall, I definitely mirror these comments. The flow of it just seemed off and way too long.

Thanks for the feedback, it's always welcome. Hopefully as the team does more recordings, things will begin to smooth out and people will be more comfortable and the podcast as a whole will improve.

This is the first time any of us has done something like this, so it was new territory for us for sure. After a short time, I'm sure we will find our groove and get more comfortable with the format. It was fun, but also a learning experience as well.

I do think maybe 3 is a better number usually for podcasts, but I think we can make it work as we get more comfortable. Either way, we can be dynamic.

As far as the length, this is the age-old debate when it come to podcasts. On one hand, you have the people who like it short and to the point. They usually listen at their desks and find long podcasts an annoyance. On the other hand, you have people who listen to many, many podcasts a week, often times in a work vehicle, and the longer, the better, as that is their primary media content for the week. I definitely fall into that category (which has no bearing on our length, btw).

In the podcast realm I find about 1 hour to be fairly standard for a weekly show. Shorter and you don’t cover much. If there was more then one show a week then ok short, one or two topics and out.

Intro music was awesome. Topics were smoshed a wee bit. Needs an "index" list for what I can expect out of the geekcast. But I like the 3 people speaking, and the funny garbles in the background.
