Getting close to draft time for the Yahoo! league with 19 days left. Right now it's sitting at 14 teams. When it gets close I will lock the entry if there's an even amount of teams. We can't draft with an odd amount so hopefully we won't have to boot an odd team out as well.
Well I dl most of the player ranking on ESPN so I hope those will help me come draft time. Just hope I will do ok for the first year lol.
So, is the draft one that goes automatically based on our rankings, or where we pick our players manually?
Which one? The ESPN one or the Yahoo! one? The Yahoo! one is live drafting. If you can't make the draft and have your preset rankings edited to your liking, I think Yahoo! will try to follow that. Although to be honest I don't think the predraft ranking is very reliable.

Dude I thought you were going to stop at 10, 12 max.... do you have any idea how hard its going to be to have a decent season and how long the draft is going to take with 18 people? I may have to pull out.. I'll let you know..
Wait, How many teams are there now??? 20?? Thats like a 10 hour draft if you do a minute a pick with 16-20 picks.
I dunno where the 12 team max idea came from. The very first post of this thread said 20 teams first come first serve. We're at 18 now. It's definitely gonna be a long draft but even moreso an interesting season. But I have done 20 team basketball leagues and the draft wasn't that bad.
i am excited about this season i really like some of the new picks wonder how McFaddien is going to do?
He scares me as a pick due to the fact that he is on the raiders Same with Jamarcus Russell. BTW is there a rules and point scoring system yet?
Locked the amount of teams at 18 since we're under two weeks until the draft. Any people interested in the last two spots please PM me.
A long draft and my lack of football knowledge (in players) means I may have to rely on pre draft picks or at least do the first 6 rounds then leave the rest to chance. Just hope I won't be screwed by it too much (like my Fantasy Baseball this year)
well it looks like The Football World 2005's Draft is going to be this Friday, the 22nd, at 7pm. Its still not 100% solid, but that's what it is looking like, so please plan accordingly!!
For those unaware, REDLINE's league is the ESPN one. The other one that is live drafting in less than two weeks with about 18 teams right now is on Yahoo! BTW, the league is back down to 17 teams. We need one more or one less to draft.
