It does look fun for kids. Reminds me alot of the unreleased G2 Gobots stunt playset...

 

It's not even screen accurate considering the posters clearly show a pale gray dragon, not black with red highlights.

And yet it's the one they show to investors instead of an actual mainline toy...if he's even getting one. The fact Stinger was passed over for a shitty Tracks homage repaint set the precedent that no longer can we assume all bad guys will get a toy.

Well, if we get a good toy of the dragon at all, it'll be a voyager or a leader at best.

Man, I miss the Supreme class.

I definitely see ONST, but I can't tell if that's a B or an M before it.

 

Deluxe drift is it a retool or a new mold? Looks so simular that I'm thinking it's a retool.

Voyager hound looks better then aoe plus has that hardness that came with the ko version.

Voyager Megatron/leader megatron really selling megatron in this photo. Get to see alt. Mode, robot mode painted today, plus big leader megatron. Both look good, great debate this year, which is better Voyager or Leader? Will get leader and hope there are several repaints of voyagers. Would like to see it in purple and black.

Is the dress gold or blue? LOL! Seriously, it's too hard to tell with my monitor. I can see it either way.

 

Drift would definitely have to be a retool or a new mold, the original AoE mold was a licensed Bugatti. Looks like a full reshell, presumably with all the bot mode bits with Bugatti parts also changed. Can't tell if Hound is a redeco, retool, or new mold, but he definitely has the best colors out of all the non-KO Hounds we've had.

Looks more like gunmetal gray than pale gray to me.

I was hoping we might get news on a big budget (i.e., console release) video game this year.  

 

Maybe I'm just getting older or my hobbyist tastes have become highly refined, but very little of this product news appeals to me. Mostly just interested to see where Masterpiece and Generations goes. I don't have the time or the money to chase all things Transformers, but I'm glad it looks like there should be something for everybody in the TF fan community.

 

Every Bayformer is shades of gunmetal grey. Hasbro's the only one who cares that the characters need to have color to market to children.

 

5TH SEASON OF RESCUE BOTS! YES!!!  

Hope we'll see the missing bots and mini-cons in this one.

 

I can NOT goddamn wait for this year ! The generations line is going to continue well past the POWER OF THE PRIMES , I can only imagine   And ultra bee actually doesn`t look like shit .... It`s growing on me .... WWonder the detail on the teams ... bot and limb , aswell as vehicle or are they going to pull a ROTF DEVASTATOR on us ? Fingers crossed .

 

If they only show the first two waves, its safe to say we wont see anything about Onslaught, Cogman or even Hotrod

 

"Celebrations for the 10th Anniversary of the first live action movie will also take place this year" YES!! Thank god. I've been wondering if Hasbro was going to do anything for the 10th anniversary ever since Takara announced their Movie The Best line.

...then why not just demand the CGI models be as colorful? Any argument over 'realism' went out the window when Liquidformers could 'transform' without an iota of recognizable kibble in robot mode.

 

Lots of Transformers related stuff but the only thing that generates any excitement for me is the Generations stuff. The rest of it either just doesn't appeal to me or isn't my thing.
