Scopeman and magnum? NICE! Never actually seen clear pics of either one of those. If only magnum and browning weren't so expensive...
Excellent pics guys!, those are the best shots ive seen of Magnum and make me wish id picked him up when i had the opportunity.
Hopefully someday hasbro will release the robot masters. But g2 ironfist is awesome. That gallery was astounding.
In the list here, Browning shouldn't be called "Microman Browning" as that is not what it is a gallery of (correctly identified as Kingdam Browning in the photo gallery). No need to be confusing people (which I used to be until I read up about the two, the repro decepticon stickers on him here add a bit of potential confusion). And for those interested here's a few sites illustrating the differences between MC17 Microman Browning and KO/bootleg Kingdam Gun Robo (Browning): http://www.geocities.com/kidk0rrupt/bbrowning/bbrowning.htm http://www.geocities.com/futuristgroup/vbrowning.html Drooling over the .44 Magnum btw, great galleries!
Hey! I have Ironfist! Didn't know that. Loving the gun-robos galleries. I'd like to eventually buy a Magnum, as from the pics, it's one of the better looking gun-robos. In fact, IMO, Megatron is the weakest of Microman's gun-robos. I do have a Browning, but have no idea what version it is. The only thing I know is that's not the Masterforce release. -airfox
If your Browning/GunRobo has the packaging then telling them apart is fairly easy (see those links I posted). For the figure, if it had the Takara Japan stamp on the handle it is the real vintage Micro-Change Browning (MC17) and if it doesn't, it is the vintage bootleg Kingdam Gun-Robo. Also, the real version has chrome guns whereas the Kingdam Gun-Robo has unchromed yellow guns. Also the yellow plastic (i.e. the bullets) is a brighter, glossier yellow and feels different than the duller yellow real bullets. Both Takara Micro-Change and Kingdam (vintage bootleg line) had full lines available in the 80s so it`s a meaningful and useful distinction to know. Hope that helps!
That's the thing... it's stored, and I haven't seen it in a while. I do remember it's not the Masterforce one, but looking at the Microchange package and the Kingdam package, well ... I know the package is similar to both, but not sure which one it is. I don't even remember if the guns are chromed or not. This will have to wait for my future organizational project, which I'll perform in the future. -airfox
