This is the first episode of the first TV show of the studio and their first animation in a more stylized environment (their game CGI was all for semi-realistic games), you can't expect a huge array of detailed backgrounds. In CGI the world itself grows as the show grows, just compare first season beast wars to END of first season beast wars, Clone Wars movie to last season they just had, the quality just keeps growing and growing. Heck and it seems to already be growing, in the first episode the human characters moved extremely flat but by the last two of the premiere they're just as expressive as the robots.

They wouldn't be THAT good in their first five if it was cheap. It's not. Like you said facts is fact and TF Prime is an amazing effort with what they have and it'll only keep getting more advanced.

 

Watched the whole thing again this weekend. Love it more and more each time. Bloody-hell Feb 11th can't come soon enough.

 

So, who here thinks when feb 11 comes around, they are going to start back again with the miniseries, and only after the 6th week do we get a new episode?

 

Bloody hell, I hope not, man. Young Justice did that.

On the other hand, I could have sworn the promo said New Episodes.

Because if that's true, and it's weekly, then we really won't see a new episode until the middle of March.
