    The things on IH's hands are leftover from Ratchet, but they become part of the vehicle mode I think. In robot mode they were supposed to be a set of defibulators (in other words the things paramedics use after shouting "CLEAR!" to try and get people's hearts going again) for Ratchet, but in that silver color they could pass as some kind of melee weapon (like brass knuckles, only silver)
