This Optimus is in a really good scale to the TFP deluxes. Cliffjumper stands around the bottom of Prime's windshields in robot mode.

That's my only real gripe with it too - it's a great design until you get to the feet, they do spoil it somewhat.

As has also been said, a few more paint apps wouldn't have killed them either. But it is a great toy, and possibly been a little overlooked among the TFP toys because it's "yet another" Prime.

I do wonder if all these First Edition TFP toys are going to get reworked tho, as is happening with Cliffjumper - that'll be interesting.

Yes please! This may replace my Classics as my go-to Optimus in my collection.

How long do US customers have to wait for a general release.

I've been thinking. Should I get the Hasbro or the Takara Version of the Voyager Optimus toy? I mean they both look very nice but I wonder which one is more accurate? Or does it really have to do with color preferences?

Hasbro's technically more accurate. The Takra ver. goes for a deco more inspired by the G1 toy. Neitehr have better paint.

Speaking of, this toy + silver spary paint + a little detail work and care = the best Optimus voyager ever.

Oh okay thanks. I just wondering if the Takara version was more accrate that's all. I know the Takara Bulkhead certainly looks better in my opinon!

Yep! Nothing like a little customization to help really shine him up!:D

I've decided to go for the Takara version. I've looked carefully at both versions and his CGI model and I think the Takara version's more accurate. However if I'm wrong someone tell me. Also I think the plastic they used for the sword, smokestacks and windows look better then the Hasbro.
