Enjoy everyone! Photos of this sharp looking Mech with the Mouth by 2005 Boards Photo Staff Member SydneyY! I can't wait to get my paws on this one, even if I am probably repurposing him as Deadlock!

So let's kick back and enjoy the pictures of this cool exclusive.

Anyone else think it's funny that hasbro and funpub are "borrowing" someone else's IP for inspiration for this?

Might be, but at the end of the day, everything is kind of a copy of something else, especially when it comes to stereotypical symbols being used on an existing design.

Never thought about him as Deadlock before. I could see out more if he was black and purple

This guy is pretty sweet all around. If he were on shelves I'd grab him, but otherwise he's a pass.
I'm really digging the purple cybertronian arashikage marks on the short swords.

There's a difference between being inspired by or paying homage as opposed to ripping off another's IP (blatant copy that's easy to confuse as the original character).
Marvel's Deadpool was inspired by DC's Deathstroke, and the list goes on and on. Made even funnier when you get to the Darkseid, Thanos, Mongul three way.

I love the alt mode, but I think the robot mode is very kibbley. That's why I never got drift or blurr. Strange no one else has said that. Blurr is supposed to be fast, and drift is supposed the be stealthy. Just don't see that robot mode as either.

hey. if you're troubled by the kibble, as I was... you can totally flip those door flaps up into a tight backpack. Works really well, and gives him a different look. You can also pose the shoulders in various positions. I have each of the characters transformed differently and with different weapons. Looks quite nice.

well, i don't think Deadpool is an idiot, but he's definitely insane... i hope to god that SG Drift is the exact same as Deadpool, and i hope he knows he's a repaint of a toy in a comic, that would be awesome...

Quite possibly one of the best purchases I've ever made... More than satisfied with SG Drift & Over-run!

But I did it all for the Drift. He can bust a mighty B-boy stance...
