So his knees do work the normal way then?

Man, I'm torn on this. He looks better, but his butt-shelf really bugs me - I noticed there were no pictures taken of it this time?

It's there in the shot of the weapon storage - truth be told I went for the "interesting" poses. Couple of views of the back attached. Honestly, it's not nearly as bad as made out in my view - it's annoying but I see no other way of doing it without messing up the look of the toy. I'd certainly not want more hinges in there.

It's those proportions that kill it for me, and the twiggy legs. I'll stick with Music Label Soundwave on my to-get list.

Yeah, I think personally, for the authentic look I'll just buy a music label....better gimmicks as this just doesn't really have anything except fitting G1 c assets.

i think someone else who has him tried and he and the autoscouts wont fit.

i am glad they fixed things from my review, but i still can see in the pics the pegs starting to stress since they are so thin.

also i think making it g1 compatible with the tapes is cool, but make the over all bot design out of scale.

they are making there own cassette bots so why not slim it down for that reason. so that at least classics ravage and the autoscouts could fit.

if i want a soundwave that can hold g1 cassettes i will use my g1 soundwave. would be nice to have something a little different.

Sonicron would be a must buy if ML Soundwave had not already been released.

Very nice looking Soundwave. However those fragile tabs on the legs scare me. Their insistance on using this method of locking the legs instead of a more traditional and sturdy peg/hole like Has/Tak uses has me concerned. I'd be scared of transforming it and would just display him permanently in robot mode never transforming him.

Unless this company is going to have replacement legs at no cost readily available everytime I snap tabs transforming him, this is a no buy.

Yeah, I was reading that his knees didn't bend normally, but this picture clearly shows it. That was my original deal breaker for me, but now I too am warming up to Sonicron. Nice review, thanks. Don't know if I'll buy it, but I am liking it enough now that I might.

I do like this, but honestly I have music label Soundwave and the fact that there is so much good stuff coming out in the next few months means I am going to have to pass on this for now.

Not bad but I am not digging that awkward looking chest. Should be more rounded and rendered a bit more out.

I'm considering this. I notice if I add 1000 to my cart at BBTS, they show a bunch more are on order. Is there any chance that BTS will revise the tabs? I am tired of getting burned as an early adopter of things. If it will be revised, I would rather wait. I'm not feeling like getting screwed (ask owners of Masterpiece Rodimus v1.0 what I'm talking about).
